It took me awhile to finally decide what to wear and once I did I felt pretty satisfied with myself. I had on a black, half naked cross back dress with red wedges and red hoop earrings. I pulled my hair up into a high pony and through on cherry red lipstick. I looked hot and did not look like someone who was taken. Feeling bad after I throwing on this great ensemble, I decided to tell Carlos about where I'd be heading. His face looked surprised but then he took in how I looked and pushed the fact that I didn't use to go to clubs aside and instead insisted that he joined me. Kristian didn't mind of course, he didn't even look at me twice when he saw me. All he said was, "Stop standing there, the party started half an hour ago." I rolled my eyes and linked my arm with Carlos's as we exited the mansion.

The whole car ride Carlos and Kristian joked about some guy named Dylan and how they used to have good times when he was here and yada yada yaw, completely forgetting that I was in the car, sitting quietly in the back seat, sighing to me myself. Finally once we arrived, Carlos remembered that I was here. Escorting me out of the vehicle and lead me to the entrance of the club. "Name?" The bouncer at the front holding the clipboard asked. "Kristian , Carlos and Monique." The bouncer lifted his head up from his clipboard, "Mrs. Colmenro, has been asking for you all, right this way." The bouncer points us in the direction of where this Colmenro lady is. And now that I think about it her name actually sounds familiar. "Kristian this chick is your ex you say?" Kristian doesn't say anything and neither does Carlos. They both ignored me and continued on walking, in search of this so called ex. We walked for what seemed like ever until two girls rounded a corner laughing. They stopped and screamed over the loud, pounding music. Carlos released me from his grasps and rushed over to the brunette, hugging her tight, whereas Kristian rushed over to the black girl and kissed the side of her cheek. I awkwardly stand, leaning my weight all on my phone hip. "So this must be the ex-girlfriend?"

"Monique! What the hell, when did you wake up and why didn't you call me." The black girl says, rushing over to me and squeezing me tight. "Uh..." I really did not want to answer that question. I feel like I am repeating myself. But I guess once more wouldn't kill me. "I lost my memories; I have no idea who you are." The girl with Kristian busted laughing and I stare at her confused, did I say something funny? I run over what I said her to her and nothing in what I said seems funny. "Elena." Kristian says, gritting through his teeth and elbowing her to stop. "What? She is joking right?" Carlos shakes his head no and Elena's smile fades. "Wait what? It was that bad?" Elena doesn't give us any time to answer that question. Instead she walks up to me quickly and embraces me in a tight bear hug. "Aw sweetheart, don't worry you will be back to your old self in no time. Right Dylan?" Elena turns over to face the girl that was with Carlos and she smiles and nods. "Yeah Monique it's probably not permanent amnesia."

"Wait you're Dylan?" I ask surprised. This is the person that Kristian and Carlos were yacking about the whole car ride here? Dylan is a girl...

"It's actually Dylanna but people like calling me Dylan."

"This is my big sister." Carlos says and I hold my mouth a gape. Now that I think about it, it does make a lot of sense. She has brunette hair and hazel eyes. She had freckles and a dimple appears on the right side of her face when she smiles, just like Carlos. Dylan pulls me into her arms, giving me a big hug as well and I return the hug back. "I wish I could have been there when you woke up Monique."

"That's alright, the less people there that day was kind of better for me."

"Yeah, yeah Monique is up and we are all caught up, now let's dance." Kristian grabs Elena by the wrist and drags her onto the dance floor. Dylan chuckles before disappearing into the crowd of dancing people and I start dancing where I am, letting the vibe of the music run throughout my body. It felt good to finally let loose and just forget about everything even the stuff that I cannot remember. I had no idea what song was playing and I did not care. My hips swayed to the beat and I could feel myself get lower and lower and lower and then once I couldn't go any lower I rose slowly, still swaying my hips. My eyes were closed to block them from the flashing lights. I was startled by hands being placed on my hips from behind. I didn't turn around to check who it was, instead I continued dancing, swaying to the beat of the song, following the rhythm and motion. Once I got tired of swaying I turned around in Carlos's arms, placing mine around his neck and swayed slowly in his arms.
