After a goodnights sleep my pregnancy hormones have probably stabilized a little. My thinking is much more rational today, at least I think it is. I'm sure I overreacted yesterday, moving back home is most definitely not a bright idea. Everyone there deceived me, my supposed friends had many chances to tell me the truth.

At least here I can live my dream and have my dream job. It's literally meant for me, I believe that everything in life happens for a reason and I am the only psychologist major meaning that it can't be a coincidence. All I have to do is call the former psychologists secretary and I'll be set. With this job I can provide for my baby and I can stay here without worrying about losing all the money I brought with me.

Putting my dirty dishes that contained my breakfast in the sink. I go to my bedroom stopping at my dresser I see my purse in sight. Moving my hand to grab it I take a seat on the edge of my bed.

Rummaging through my messy purse I grab the paper with her number and begin typing it into my phone when it begins to ring unexpectedly. Looking at the screen I see the name 'Jay' flash.

"Hey, everything all right?" I ask, answering the phone.

"Hey sorry for calling so unexpected. Emily's babysitter canceled today and I was wondering if you could watch her because I have work? It would be good practice for the months to come."

"It's not a problem, of course I'll take care of her. You didn't even have to call, you could have just knocked on the door and dropped her off." I reply. I don't mind helping especially since I'll be taking care of a baby all on my own in a few months.

"Thank you, I'm actually outside your door." Walking to the door with my phone against my shoulder I open it and smile.

"Well hello there." I state looking at the baby she's quite adorable. "I got her." Closing my phone I grab the carseat and put it in the living room.

"Thank you again. Her bottle and diapers are in the bag with everything else you need. I got to go I'm going to be late."

"Okay bye."

Sitting beside the baby I smile at her and decide to call the secretary later. Moving the handle, at the top of her contraption back I undo the seatbelt so I can hold the angel.

Setting her on my lap so she faces me I begin to make funny faces. I can't believe I'm going to have this soon. I hope my baby doesn't look like the H word because it would remind me of him, but I know that's practically impossible when focusing on Emily. As I look at her features while she laughs at my funny faces I notice how she looks a little like her mother, but that she has differences such as her hair, eyes, and skin tone. She's much lighter then her mother and I'm assuming these are her fathers qualities.

"Do you wanna play something?" I ask softly knowing she won't be able to respond yet. It's always good to talk to a baby so they can develop the language and communication skills at least that's what it states in the mom to be books I've been reading. Putting her in the car seat I put a blanket on the ground and put her on it. Then we play with stuffed animals. Emily tries to crawl obviously unable to because she's still to young. She's getting there though. All this movement has probably made her hungry as she begins to sob out of nowhere.

Going through her duffle bag I look for the bottle and formula. They're right at the top which is perfect for me. As a person who gets hungry I know waiting for food can feel like forever. To ensure that the baby doesn't harm herself or fall while I prepare her food I pick her up off the floor and put her into her car seat, strapping her in safely. Inserting the formula and water into the bottle I shake it and let it begin to cook in the microwave. While waiting for it I look over to Emily making sure she's alright as the microwave beeps informing me that the bottle is ready. Putting some milk on my wrist I make sure it's warm enough for her and go back to her.

Cradling her against my chest I try to stop her sobs and put the bottle in her mouth. Looking at her I imagine what it'll be like with my child. I can tell she's definitely hungry cause she tries to grasp the bottle, takes it in quickly and begins to eat. As the bottle empties her eyes begin to stay closed for longer periods until she isn't blinking at all. Laying her in the car seat carefully since she's asleep I settle myself on the floor beside it and try to take a nap among the little one.

"Knock knock knock."

Startled from the sudden bangs coming from the door I get up to see who it is. Jay doesn't get back for a few hours and I don't know anyone else here. Instead of opening it I decide to ask, "Who is it?"

"It's me." The person replies in their slow deep voice giving me goosebumps that run across my spine. How is this possible? How did he find me?

Shaky I inhale and exhale slowly to calm my nerves. Trying to change my voice up a bit I begin with a squeaky voice, "Who's me?"

"I know it's you Jessica and I know you know it's me. Please open the door."

Debating internally, I embrace myself before slowly unlocking and opening the door.

Feeling my heartbeat in my stomach I stare at the person I never thought I'd see again Harry, unable to move. My heart tells me to hug him, my body tells me to vomit. Why can someone who's done something so toxic make me feel like this. Feeling a drop of water run against my cheek I wipe it away and remember what he's done to me. Running my eyes up and down his body from his head to his toes I notice that he looks exactly the same like my leaving has not effected him at all. Soon, his arms are engulfed around my body.

"Why did you leave? I've been looking everywhere for you."

"Like you don't know why." I grumble rolling my eyes. "I know what you did. Don't talk to me and leave I don't want to see you again."

"Jess,-" Harry calls looking at me with his puppy dog eyes. "I wanted to tell you, but I wanted to wait for your memory to return beforehand. I promise it's not what you think."

"How isn't it what I think? I saw it with my own eyes Harold. JUST TELL MY WHY?" I demand when a baby begins to cry unexpectedly.

Looking around the apartment I see nothing, not one baby in sight. Confusion courses through my body. Slowly I close my eyes focusing on the crying I blink repeatedly. My whole body and the floor below me begin to tremble. It feels like an earthquake has hit me triggering me to abruptly open my eyes. Scanning my surroundings I look around to see what's happening.

The room is bright and my eyes burn at first. I'm in horrendous pain in my abdominal area looking down I worry that somethings wrong with the baby. Maybe the earthquake killed it. Feeling water flow down my cheeks I begin to cry quietly when I notice something moving in my arms. Starting down I see a baby too small to be Jay's in my arm.

"Our baby is beautiful. I'm so proud of you." Harry beams causing me to look over at him.

"What are you talking about? How are you here? I don't want you anywhere near me."

"You just gave birth." Harry pauses his eyebrow lifting on one side. He looks at me as if I'm crazy. Moving towards me he grabs the baby from my hand and continues, "You were driving to the store when a car hit you. Maybe your memory was effected. Don't you remember?"
