Calix's P.O.V

          "Hindi ko alam kung bakit sinabi sa akin yun ng mga magulang ko noong maliit pa lang si Thea. Basta ang natatandaan ko lang, mahigpit akong pinagbawalan ng mga magulang ko na ingatan si Thea. Na kailangan ko syang bantayan at kailangan ko syang protektahan sa taong nagngangalang Zero." he said after talking about what had his parents said to him when Thea and him were too young to understand such difficult situation like this.

          "Where are your parents anyway? And what they do for living?"

          I have a bad feeling about Thea's parents' occupation.

          If they were assassins too like the rest of us in the organization, then, this bastard's life and Thea's are really in danger.

          I clasped my hands into a tight fist. I suddenly feel I have to shelter Thea from any harm.

          "Business man mga magulang ko. May iba't-iba kaming negosyo abroad."

          "Really? And what is it?"

          I am getting more curious. Are they selling drugs? Exporting from Philippines to abroad or vice versa? Were they selling deadly equipments? What?!

          "Nasa food business kami. May mga branch yung restaurant namin sa abroad pero wala dito sa Pilipinas kasi nga masyadong mahina ekonomiya natin. Masyado daw risky kung magtatayo sila ng negosyo dito." he answered. "Teka nga lang! Tanong ka ng tanong ah! Ako na naman magtatanong! Ano bang trabaho mo at may baril kang dala huh?! Saka bakit may tama ka ng baril noong una kang dalhin ni Thea dito sa bahay huh?!"

          He's turned into psycho, too obsess with his little sister brother mode again. Tsk!

          "I'm an assassin. Satisfied?"

          "ANO?!" he scream aloud. "Nakikipagdate yung kapatid ko sa isang mamatay tao?!"

          "First, I don't kill people just for the sake that I want to. It's a job. And I gain money from killing bad ass persons so I don't see anything wrong with my work. Second, Thea and I were not dating. I'm just planning to ask her out—"

          "Hindi ako papayag na makipagdate ang isang gaya mo sa kapatid ko!" he stand up and point his index finger to me. "Hindi ko hahayaang ang napakaganda kong kapatid ay babagsak lang sa isang psychotic assassin na gaya mo!"

          "You're the psychotic one." I murmur.

          "Hoy narinig kita! Akala mo huh?!" he said under gritting teeth. "Sasabihan ko si Thea na lumayo sa'yo. At kung pwede lang, lumayo-layo ka na sa kapatid ko pwede?! Hindi ako naniniwala sa'yo na wala kang gagawing masama kay Thea. Saka ano bang alam ko sa totoo mong misyon huh? Mamaya sinasabi mo lang na ako talaga target mo pero yun pala si Thea talaga!"

          "Huh! Sabi na! Tama! Ganoon nga! Kaya ka nakikipaglapit sa kapatid ko kasi para mas madali mo syang matapos di ba?!"

          I sigh. This person is hopeless. He doesn't know the meaning of calm down and shut up.

          "How many times do I need to repeat that I was assigned to finish you and not Thea huh? Do you really think I can lay a hand to your sister?"

          "Basta lumayo ka sa kapatid ko!" he said then walk straight into the door of their house and open it. "Please lang, lumabas ka na bago pa ako mawalan ng bait sa mga pinagsasabi mo!"
