"No, he's not my brother."

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly and before I knew it, I was driving home.  As planned I was to come back and pick Gavin up after his try-outs, and he and I were to catch an early movie.  I spent an hour at home before I decided to a drive-through and went back to school to get Gavin.  The school lot was a lot emptier than before but there were still a lot of cars.  Namely the more expensive ones were left.  I decided to park up front and as I hopped out I spotted the sexiest car ever.  A blacked out Maserati GranTurismo.  I stepped up right in front of it and must have stared at it for so long.  I really needed to get myself a black one, I thought to myself.  The white one I had was amazing, but I'd change the color soon.   I was startled out of my reverie when I heard my phone ding.

Gavin: Dude, where are you?

Jayde: Chill, I'm here.  I'm outside, but I'll come in if you want.

Gavin: I'm still changing from my shower so yeah, you can come in.

Jayde: Okay, I'll be waiting by the bleachers.

So as he and I agreed, I walked to the bleachers so I could wait for him.  On my way there, the sun was glaring so I couldn't really see that well.  Just as I was about to dig in my bag for my sunglasses, I bumped into something.  Or rather someone.  A very warm and muscular someone.  I slowly looked up and cursed in my head when I recognized who it was.  The guy staring from the cafeteria glanced down at me with an unreadable expression.

"Are you okay?" his impossibly deep and masculine voice asked.

"I'm fine, thanks.  Sorry for bumping into you," I answered politely.

"It's no problem.  Are you new here?" he asked.

"Uh yeah.  What about you?" I asked hesitantly.

"No, I've been here for a pretty long time," he answered mysteriously.

"That's nice," I replied and gave him a small smile, signaling my readiness to leave.

"Are you waiting for your brother?" he asked with a genuine curiousness in his eyes.

"Do you mean Gavin?" I clarified.

"Yes, the one you were with earlier," he answered.

"No. He's not my brother," I said.

"He's not huh?" he stated in a dry tone and he looked a bit agitated to hear that.

"Uh no, but he's waiting for me so I have to go.  It was nice talking to you," I said quickly and darted away from him and to the bleachers.  One might think I was crazy, but I thought I heard a growl as I walked away.  A very animalistic growl.  I ignored it thinking I was just hungry or being delusional and sat on the bleachers.  I scanned the place to see if Gavin was already there or not.  Sure enough, he came walking out through a door under the arena, probably where the showers and gym lockers were housed.

"Gav!" I screamed loud enough to get his attention.  It was funny that a couple of guys that were further away turned, like they could hear me.

"Hey," he greeted as he came jogging up to me.

"How was try-outs?" I asked.

"It was great.  The team's awesome and the captain kicks major ass," he exclaimed like a kid on Christmas day.

"Well I'm glad you like your new team.  That is if you got accepted," I started.

"You better believe I did! I haven't worked out a sweat like that in months," he said excitedly.

"Well come on, let's go.   I want to get some food before we watch a movie," I started.  I was about to say something else when I heard a voice screaming for someone to watch out.  I immediately turned around just in time to see a soccer ball coming my way.  I shielded myself as best as I could, but the ball had already hit me.  I grunted and the world fell black as I collapsed.  The last thing I remember was hearing a very angry shout and someone catching me.

AN: hehehe I'll stop here...but like I said: Tell me if you guys want the rest.
