Predator's POV

Predator: Ruby! Go!

She took a second and then she ran by him. He kicked her as she ran by.

AaaaAHHHH!

I switched to Run N Gun Protocol. I threw a gravity star at him sucking him in and ran at him. The star exploded pushing him towards me. I grappled him and pulled myself towards him ready to kill.

Blood will spill tonight.

INJECTING 100cc OF STIM.

My body felt stronger as I kicked his face with all my might. The speed and force of the kick caused his face to concave in cracking actual bones and killing him instantly. I landed on the floor as his body landed on his back. His body was a bloody mess. I spit on him.

Didn't think your face was augmented.

I ran to the arena to see Ruby crying.

Predator: What's wrong?

Ruby: It's Penny.

I look to see Penny destroyed and in pieces.

The hell happened?

I hugged her and wiped her tears. We heard a female voice through the intercom.

???: This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, yourchildren, to men who claim to be our guardians, but are, in reality, nothing more than men. Our Academies' Headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both. They cling to this power in the name of peace, and yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army, mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference. And what, I ask you, what is Ozpin teaching his students? First a dismemberment, now this? Huntsman and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither. Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the Tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong. But I know the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable. Our Kingdoms are on the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So I ask you: When the first shots are fired who do you think you can trust?

Torgue: I'M OUT! PEACE!

A orange sign saying CAUTION.

???: WARNING! GRIMM INVASION LEVEL NINE. PLEASE SEEK SHELTER IN A CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION.

Ironwood: There is no need to panic.

As he said that a Nevermore appeared and was breaking the defenses with its beak.

Fuck your orders! Legion! Find and protect the others! Ruby's with me!

I heard Legion break through the hangar door.

Legion: AFFIRMATIVE PILOT.

The Nevermore broke the defenses and landed in front of us. A trail of roses knocked the beast down.

Ruby?

She landed in front of me with Penny's sword. The Nevermore got back up to be killed by a barrage of shotgun blasts and rocket fire. Oobleck and Port got in front of us.
