Chapter 8: Revealed

Aichi couldn't stop getting worried about what happened to Kourin, he wanted to know but Kourin's sister Rekka wasn't telling him anything about Kourin but her sickness.
Sure Kourin is sick, but it has been a week. But once he went to his classroom and their teacher went inside, they were delivered a surprising news.
"Class, the Tatsunagi family have called the school earlier, and this is about Kourin Tatsunagi. She has been admitted to the hospital due to her sickness getting worse."
"What?!" The whole class were worried, specially Aichi, Naoki, and Shingo.
When the classes were over, Naoki approached Aichi and he noticed how serious Aichi has become.
"Aichi?" Naoki called to him.
Aichi stood up and looked at Naoki, "I'm going to visit Kourin-chan."
"What? Really?" Naoki was surprised.
Aichi nodded, "I'm going there, do you guys want to join too?"
"I… I think it's okay for me, but I got something to do." Naoki told and looked down.
Aichi then looked at Shingo who went to them, "Shingo-kun, do you want to come along with me?"
"I'm sorry Sendou-kun, but I don't think I can. But if you're going to pay a visit to Kourin-san please tell her we're hoping she'll get better." Shingo replied.
Aichi smiled and nodded, then he took his bag and walked out. "See you guys tomorrow!"
"Okay!"

Aichi decided he would go to the hospital alone, and went he got there he quickly went to the nurse station.
"Hello, how may I help you?" The nurse greeted as Aichi approached the nurse.
"Um, is there someone named Kourin Tatsunagi admitted here?" He asked.
"Well let's see," the nurse said and searched on the computer. "Oh yes Ms. Tatsunagi is here, are you paying a visit?"
"Um yes, can I?" Aichi asked.
"Yes, you just have to fill up on the record book." The nurse replied and Aichi nodded.
When Aichi finished he looked at the nurse, "What is her room?"
"Oh she's on room 236."
"Thank you."

Aichi found the room and was about to open it when he saw a boy with red hair tied and red eyes, wearing a white school uniform and a girl next to him with blue hair and blue eyes also in a school uniform.
"Ren-san? Asaka-san?"
The red haired boy noticed Aichi and gave a goofy smile, "Hey there Aichi-kun! What brings you here?"
"Uh, I'm visiting a friend. How about you, Ren-san?" Aichi replied.
"Same here! Me and A-chan decided we should visit our classmate's sister." Ren Suzugamori replied.
"Who is it you're visiting, Sendou?" Asaka Narumi asked and gave a smirk.
Aichi blushed for a bit when he saw Asaka's smirk, "U-uh… She's Kourin Tatsunagi."
Asaka then gasped and Ren was surprised, "So we're visiting the same person!" said Asaka.
"Really?! Then we should all go." Aichi said and the two nodded.
Aichi opened the door and as they all went inside, they saw Kourin laying on the bed with some needles attached on her hand and a dextrose on her.
Aichi's eyes widened, he saw that Kourin had become pale and thin. "Kourin-chan?"
A person appeared, it was a tall girl with short blue hair and blue eyes. "Hello," she greeted.
"Hello Suiko!" Ren smiled and waved his hands.
"Asaka, Ren, you guys came." Suiko smiled, then looked at Aichi. "Who are you?"
"My name is Aichi Sendou," Aichi said.
Suiko nodded, 'So this is Aichi.'
"Nice to meet you, Aichi-kun." Suiko greeted, "I'm Suiko, Kourin's sister."
"I-It's nice to meet you too!" Aichi said, his gaze averted to Kourin who is sleeping.
Aichi couldn't help but to be worried, why is she like that? Why is there a gloomy atmosphere here? And what happened to Kourin? As Aichi stared, he also thought he should ask. These questions had been bothering him these past few days.
"Suiko-san, can I ask you one thing?" Aichi spoke and looked at Suiko who was talking to Asaka.
"Yes, Aichi-kun?" Suiko looked back at him.
Aichi took a deep breath before speaking, "What is Kourin-chan's condition?"
This question took Suiko aback, her mouth agape and staring at the blunette in front of her.
"She's-"
"Sui…ko.." They heard Kourin spoke in a weak voice, and they looked at Kourin. Kourin is awake, and she was looking at them. Kourin noticed Aichi and she closed her eyes, tears started to run down her cheeks.
"Kourin-chan," Aichi walked up to her and held her hand, he noticed her cold hand and he couldn't help but to feel worry and anxious.
"Ai…chi.." Kourin spoke and smiled. "You came…"
Aichi nodded, "I got so worried about you, even our friends did. What happened?"
Kourin blinked as she glanced at Aichi, then to Suiko who nodded. Kourin looked back at Aichi.
"Aichi-kun, I think we should tell you now." Suiko spoke and tapped Aichi's shoulder.
"What is it, Suiko-san?" Aichi asked.
"Kourin…" Suiko sighed, "She has a disease that can't be cured, it's dangerous."
With those words, Aichi felt his world shattered into pieces.
