Preference #18 The First I Love You

Damon: Anyone who knew you or knew Damon could see how head over heels you both were for each other but you guys weren't officially dating, you were just friends. Even though your twin brother and your younger brother Kol had teased you a ton about your feelings they could even see that you and Damon were in love and they told you all the time that Damon loved you but you just couldn't believe it. One night you and your younger sister Rebekah were going to the opening of a new club in Mystic Falls, you both had dressed up in the sexiest outfits you owned. The time in between arriving to the club and getting on the bar with Bekah to dance was all a blur of tequila shots and other different drinks attractive men were buying for the two of you. Despite all these men flirting with you and buying you drinks you still couldn't get Damon out of your head so you thought the alcohol was really getting to you when you felt a pair of eyes on you and looked up to see it was Damon.  You ignored thinking you saw Damon and just continued dancing on top of the bar with Rebekah swaying your hips to the music. You and Rebekah ended up back on the dance floor when a pair of arms wrapped around you from behind you looked behind you to be met with those striking blue eyes you have somehow come to love. You both started grinding when you finally realized what you were doing and looked at Damon "This isn't really what friends are supposed to do." you said not meaning to sound so nervous "maybe I don't want to be friends" Damon responded sternly "w-what?" you stuttered out not understanding what he meant, "I Love You Y/N" you couldn't help but smile and you smashed your lips against his.

Stefan: You and Stefan had been dating for about 2 months now and you were over the moon. You never thought a guy would make you so happy but he did. It came about the time for him to meet your mom, your dad died almost a year ago and he had already met your brother. So here the two of you were outside the luxurious home you grew up in. You rang the door bell and within 10 seconds your mom had swung the door open and wrapped you in a hug ushering you both inside. Your mom and Stefan had the proper introductions and then you all sat down to start dinner, Stefan and your mom got a long so well and got so into the conversation you were sort of forgotten about and could barely get two words in but you didn't mind you were so happy seeing two of the most important people in your life getting a long. You eventually all moved to the living room to have some drinks and continue the conversation. You were so overwhelmed with love seeing them together. When it finally started getting late you suggested you and Stefan take your leave, you both said your goodbyes to your mother and got in car. About 5 minutes into the drive Stefan stopped to look over at you, "Hey you okay? You've been quiet since we got in the car" He asked sounding concerned "I am fine cutie, just thinking" you said with a slight smirk "thinking about what?" he asked genuinely curious Thinking about how much I love you" you said not able to contain your smile. Stefan pulled over the car so quickly almost giving you whip lash, he got out of his car and sped over to your side and opening the door he cupped your face in his hands "what did you just say" he questioned feeling as if the last 2 minutes were just not real "I Love You Stefan" you said looking him directly in the eye almost like you were trying to convince him "Oh God I Love You Too Y/N" he kissed you and you couldn't help but smile in to the kiss you truly did love the man in front of you.

Kol: "Screw you!" you screamed throwing a vase at Kol's head him moving and narrowly missing it "What the hell Y/N!" he screamed back after he regained his composure. This was your first fight and it was your largest one to date, you have been arguing for so long you can't even honestly remember what the fight was about in the first place. After two more hours of screaming at each other you ended up sitting on the couch, you back against the armrest one arm resting on your torso, the other one straight over the couch cushions Kol was sitting next to your feet semi hunched over.  Neither of you were saying anything just sitting in silence, you finally looked at him "I honestly don't know what this fight was about in the first place but honestly I don't care I don't want to fight with you. Ever." you looked at him truly meaning every word, he slightly smiled "I feel the same way you are the most amazing person I have ever met in my entire life and I have had a long life, I don't ever want to lose you I Love You Y/N" you couldn't help but break into a large smile and kiss him square on the mouth "I Love You Kol Mikaelson!"
