I came back to Mystic Falls after almost 200 years of being gone last time I was here I had met Damon Salvatore and fell in love but then Katherine Pierce turned me and had one of her friends take me away, I never expected though to see Damon with another girl.

There's a big black sky over my town

I know where you're at, I bet she's around

And yeah, I know it's stupid

But I just gotta see it for myself

I knew where he was I knew he was in the Salvatore boarding house with her, I should of just left just turned around and never came back I had to see if he was really happy with this girl.

I stood in the window watching them all cuddled up on the couch and watching her look up at him and kiss him, a part of me wanted him to see me and just hold me in his arms but the other part knew he was happy.

I keep dancing on my own

I'm just wanna dance all night

And I'm all messed up, I'm so out of line, yeah

My heart ached and so I did the only thing I could think of I broke in to a dance studio near by plugged in my phone and just let the music take over me as I tried to get Damon and that girl out of my head.

Stilettos and broken bottles

I was spinning and leaping dancing to my hearts content wanting so badly to get the image of Damon with that girl out of my head.

I was just dancing in the dark to the song trying to get out all my emotion out wanting Damon to be holding me in his arms.

The lights come up, the music dies

But you don't see me standing here

I just came to say goodbye

All of the sudden the music stopped and the lights came on I turned around to see Damon there I stood there frozen I didn't know what to say but I knew that I would have to say goodbye so that he can be happy with her.

Damon didn't say anything he just looked at me looking like he was on the verge of tears, I didn't know if I should speak first or if he would, so I looked at him and just said a quiet "hello Damon" he just continued to stare at me.

I wanted to run in his arms and kiss him but instead I saw again the image of them on the couch him looking so happy, "I just came to say goodbye, I hope you are truly happy with that girl that is all I ever wanted for you...is to be happy"

Before he could say anything else I used my vampire speed to run away, I kept running until I was in the middle of the woods.

The lights come up, the music dies

But you don't see me standing here

I just stood in the middle of the woods not really knowing what to do or how to feel, I loved him and I just want him to be happy, I guess it is time to start my new life.
