I was dancing with Y/N at Damon and Elena's wedding, she practically dragged me to the dance floor and forced me to dance with her but I didn't care because as I was listening to the song I realized how this was exactly how I felt about Y/N.

As those words came out of the speakers I held on to Y/N a little tighter as a million memories went through my mind.

I looked down at her and kissed her gently on the lips for a long moment, I noticed that behind Y/N Damon and Elena were smiling watching us I knew Elena just wanted us to be happy. "What was that for?" Y/N asked when I pulled away.

I looked lovingly into her eyes "I am just truly lucky." she grinned widely at me and as the song came to a close and faded away I kept Y/N held tightly in my arms into the next song memories continuing to run around in my mind as I thought about how lucky I was to have her.
