Chapter 27

                (Eva's POV)
       
Everyone was already up, we were waiting on Nate's pack to get here.

"So, how did last night go?" Jasmine asked as I was tying my shoes.

"Athena announced that she was pregnant."

I looked up and Jasmine had a very large smile on her face.

"It worked." she said and I just nodded.

"Good. I'm glad. If I had to choose anyone from that pack that deserved to be happy it would be her."

I didn't say anything as I got up and put my hair in a ponytail.

"Lets head out." We met up with everyone as they were stretching.

"I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when we start." Natalia said as she sat on the floor, stretching out her legs.

"They can barely do two miles I don't think we should go to hard on them." Adam said looking at me.

They all looked at me and I shrugged my shoulders.

"I suppose we shouldn't. We will start with six miles. After that we'll see how they handle the run and decide on a course."

Adam nodded his head and we all turned our heads to see Nate and his pack come walking out.

Some of them were still yawning and I shook my head at that.

"We have a lot of work ahead of us." I said as I stretched out my arms.

I whistled and everyone from the pack came walking over as we got ready for the run.

I met Nate halfway and looked at Danny and Alex. They smiled at me and I nodded my heads at them and looked back at Nate.

"Athena will sit out."

Athena stepped forward and shook her head.

"No way, I can do two miles."

She said proudly but I shook my head at her.

"We aren't doing two miles." I said looking at her.

"How many miles are we doing?" Danny asked.

"Six." they all raised their eyebrows at me and I rolled my eyes.

"That is not a lot. You should all be able to do ten."

"Can your pack do ten?" someone asked from Nate's pack.

"We can." Natalia said stepping forward.

"But considering you all were tired from running two miles, we thought we would go easy and only do six today."

I said looking at Nate. I could tell her knew I was right and nodded his head.

"We do six." he said looking at his pack who were surprised that he took my side.

"Everyone shi-"

"No." I said cutting him off.

"No?"

"Your wolf can only be as strong as you in human form. Work on yourself, and then your wolf." He sighed and looked at me.

"Fine." he nodded at his pack who walked over to the starting line.

"Can your pack really do ten miles?" He asked and I nodded my head.
