"Hey" she says into the phone and I can immediately tell that she is crying "babe what's going on" "nothing" "Mary seriously" "Lilly nothing is going on everything is fine I'm okay schools okay you're okay everything is fine" she says her voice breaking and I can hear that she's crying harder now "Mary it's not fine none of it is what is going on maybe I can fix it" "fix my stupidity? I hear a crying voice say into the phone after answering an unknown number that has called me multiple times "yes?" "Mary is is is" they say before I hear the phone hit the ground and someone sobbing "Tyler I need to go home" I say suddenly "what? Why?" "Something happened to Mary and and and I don't know what it is but her mom called me and couldn't even finish her sentence without breaking down and dropping the phone Tyler something happened" "get in the taxi" troye says urgently and Tyler guides me toward it through my tears and we book it to the hotel where Troye helps me pack my stuff back up and Tyler finds plane tickets online and luckily there's a flight home in 45 minutes and we're to the airport and on the plane as they're about to leave without us "just in time" the flight attendant says and Tyler spends the ten hour flight trying to calm me down as I'm having a panic attack. "Tyler what if we don't make it in time what if she's dead" I say quietly trying not to disturb anyone around us "I don't know baby girl but it'll be alright I promise everything happens for a reason" I'm sitting between troye and Tyler and trying to calm down as we fly home. "Hey we need to get to the hospital asap" Joey says as I open the front door to the house. "Thanks so much Tyler and troye I can pay you guys back for all of this if it's needed later" "we're coming too" troye says and we all get into Tyler's car and go to the hospital where we find Mary is gone and I am left alone in this world once again
