The plane finally lands after what seems like forever and I begin to feel shaky as we enter the airport that is all too familiar "you're okay" Joey says as I turn on my phone and see multiple missed calls from Connor "can I call him back" I manage to squeak out and he nods "hey, where are you" Connor asks sounding very frantic "London" I respond and I can hear him start to freak out more "why the hell are you there????" He asks even more frantically "I can't explain" I say softly "what do you mean you can't explain "I mean that due to circumstance I literally can't tell you" "whatever" he says and then hangs up "great" I say through tears and Joey puts his arm around me as we walk to baggage claim "it's going to be okay lil I promise" "it doesn't seem like it" I say back and he sighs "I'm sorry" he replies softly and we don't talk again until back at zalfies flat *oh yeah, we left nala for you guys* comes up on my screen from Zoe and I just send her back a thumbs up "Nala is here" I tell Joey and he says okay and we walks inside to find Nala in her little kennel and a note from Zoe on where things are within the house. "is it sad that I've watched her videos for so long that I don't even need this?" I try to joke and Joey just smiles softly and then drops it as quickly as it was there "Joey" I say and he turns to look at me and I just stare at him as tears begin to fall down his face "it's gonna work out" "is it?" I yell at him and storm off out the front door and walk for a while. The sun began to set about two hours into my walk and I find myself sitting and the rocks by the ocean "hey" I hear someone say and they sit down next to me I don't respond and I just sit there staring at the rocks tears streaming down my face "lilly" I hear then say and I look up and see Phil sitting there and he wraps his arms around me "this is going to be hard I know, but you're strong you'll get through it" "I'm not as strong as you think I am" I reply and he just hugs me for a while and then texts Joey "why'd you do that" "it's for the best" "you're in on this too?" "No, but Joey can become quite a monster when Daniel gets the way that he is, you're going to be okay though, you turn eighteen soon and when you do and you get back out of there you can stay with us until you get back on your feet" "thanks" I say as he wipes the tears from my eyes "come on let's go back to Zoe's" "fine" me and Phil walk back to Zoe's and Joey is still in the same spot crying "I'm gonna keep her with us for tonight and let you get some rest" Phil says to Joey and he just gives Phil a thumbs up "tomorrow is going to be hard on the both of you, get some rest" Phil says after putting new in his room for the night *something is about to happen that is going to hurt the both of us a lot* I send to Connor *how's London* he replies back * I'm being put back into the foster home* *WHAT* *I'm sorry, I'm gonna miss you* *wdym you're being put back???* *Joey thinks it's best because of him and Daniel, I'm just getting in their way, it's time for me to back off I guess* *can I call you?* *No, Phil wants me to be asleep* *okay, in the morning?* *Maybe* *I love you lilly* I stare at those words for a minute seeing that he is the only one to have ever meant that when they said it *I love you too* I type back quickly hearing someone walking down the hall "good night lil" Dan says poking his head in the door and I pretend to already be asleep
