"we wont" Connor says squeezing my hand and smiling at me and we take our bags of stuff from him ad walk back out of the store and Joey texts me saying i need to be back soon so we start heading back toward the hotel and a group of girls stare at us and snap photos as we walk in and i dont even care right now because im actually kind of happy just being with Connor. "its just a friendship" "Daniel thats more than a friendship look at these pictures" "Joey theyre kids let them figure it out" "Daniel..." Joey starts and i open the door "hey" i say and Connor just stares for a second then walks to his room "you guys were being kinda loud" "sorry" Joey says and stares down at the ground "sorry i cant figure myself out" i saya nd then go and sit in a chair in the corner with the shopping bag" "thats not what he meant Lil" DAniel says sighing and Joey stands there staring at the ground "whats in the bag?" Daniel asks and a smile comes to my face "so theres this little shop by the coffee shop me and connor have been going to and its this guy who runs it and he used to run it with his wife before she got sick and it was really cute and so me and Connor both bought a couple things" i say and put the contents of the bag on the table in front of me "Joey i got you these" i say handing him the husky i had bouhgt and a couple other little trinkets and then Daniel a couple things i had bought him then slid the rest into my suitcase. a little while later after me and DAniel had been talking for a while, while Joey edited we heard a knock on the door "ill get it" i say and go open it "open this" Connor says and hands me a small box which i open "he slid this into the pocket of my jacket when we were checking out" Connor says and i see a small chain with a little heart on it with "never give up" carved into it "he left a note that said it was a gift from his wife and when he saw the scars on your arms he knew you needed it more than he did" "oh wow" i whisper and stand there looking at it "want me to put it on you" "yeah" i barely even whisper and turn so Connor can clip it around my neck "lunch time Con" Tyler says walking past us and Connor hugs me then goes to catch up with Troye and Tyler "What was that all about" Daniel asks "nothing important" i reply and we continue our conversation from earlier
