I don't think I've ever felt this nervous and anxious my entire life. What does Sapphire want to talk about? I sure as hell don't have one clue what it is, but judging by her tone of voice earlier, it's pretty important.

Right after I told Cameron, Zyljan, Aiden and Chase what Sapphire wanted, they were pretty adamant on making them go with me. As much as I want them there, I have to respect Sapphire's wishes of talking to me alone.

And so, here I am, sitting on a bench here at the park, waiting for Sapphire to arrive. I sighed as I fumbled on my phone and pulled my coat closer to me. What should I expect for our talk? Should I even expect?

Maybe I'm thinking too much into this.

My phone buzzed on my hand, Aiden's name appearing on the screen. I let a sigh escape my lips once more before I pressed my phone against my ears.

"Amber!" Aiden exclaimed. "Were you and Sapphire able to talk already?"

"No, not yet. She still haven't arrived." I replied as I looked at my sides to see if she's already here. Maybe she'll be here soon.

But what if she just set me up? I shook my head of my thoughts. Why would she even set me up? What benefit would it give her?

"Amber, I'm not comfortable with this." He commented, worry lacing in his voice.

"I know." I replied. "Where are Zyljan and the Petersons anyway?"

"Just here. Listening to our conversation." He said, a light chuckle escaping his lips when I heard bustling from the other side.

"Be careful, future sister-in-law!" I heard Cameron say, just before laughter and a loud smack engulfed their voices.

I chuckled as I heard them bantering back and forth. "Take care, teddy bear!" Chase said, making a smile to appear on my face.

The first time I met Chase, I never thought we would both end up together. Sure, he's attractive and downright drool-worthy, but he's just too much like my brother for my liking. As weird as it may sound, but I always thought it would feel like I'm dating my brother, who by the way, is really like Chase at some moments. But now that it's finally happening right now, it doesn't really feel like it.

"Sure." I replied. "Where are you anyway?"

"At my house. We're playing pool." He replied just as I heard the sound of balls smacking together and Zyljan shouting in victory.

I chuckled. "I take it Zyljan managed to put some balls inside one of the pockets?"

"Try two pockets." He replied, mirth lacing in his voice. Suddenly, I heard Zyljan groan. Chase chuckled. "Too bad the white ball got inside the pocket too."

I laughed. "Luck just doesn't seem to be with him today." I remarked, a hint of a smile playing on my lips. "Where's Aiden anyway? Why did he suddenly just disappear?"

"Well he's playing pool with Cameron and Zyljan." He replied.

"What about you? I'm pretty sure you're playing too. Go on, I'll just call you back later." I told him.

He chuckled. "Nah, it's okay. I enjoy talking to you more."

A blush threatened to creep up my cheeks as a smile made its way on my lips. Goddamn it, Chase. "I have to say Peterson, that was real smooth."

He laughed. I can practically see the glint in his eyes as his laughter boomed in my ears. "That, and I'm just telling the truth." He said.

"Sure, because talking to me more enjoyable than playing pool." I said, the smile on my face not wavering one bit.
