• Chapter 11 •
Renn
I sit in the tourbus, on a small lounge and am on my phone. My headphones are in as the driver takes us to the last stop on the tour: Boston, Massachusetts. Since I've paid for data-on-the-go, now I can go and use the internet.
I've spent my time looking up my friends, yes I googled 5 Seconds of Summer and just played around. Their new EP plays on repeat in my ears, and I feel someone pull a headphone out, and sits in front of me. "You're up early," says Michael.
"I couldn't sleep," I shrug.
"What's on your mind?"
"What are you, Facebook?"
"Answer my question Renn."
"A lot, Mike. A lot is on my mind, and I can't help but cry every time someone asks me."
"Talk to me. Get it all off your chest."I take in a deep breath. "I think I like Luke," I whisper.
"What?" asks Michael.
"I think I like him, too bad he's a cold-hearted douche."
"Why do you like someone like him?"
"I said I think I do, I don't know if I really do."Michael sighs at me and takes my hands over the table. "I'm not going to tell you not to like him or anything, but be careful okay?" he says.
"I will. Thanks Michael," I say."Gosh, this is a public area, stop the PDA." I know that voice, the most annoying, low and ear-killing voice.
"Shut up Luke!"I yell.Maybe I don't like Luke, I'm just confused because we spent so much time together. "Okay I take that back, I hate him," I say to Michael, who just laughs and shakes his head at me.
"Whatever you say Renn," he says.
There is 3 more hours until we reach Boston, and the whole time, Luke has ignored me, and made me feel like I was literally just a fly on the wall that he can't wait to smack. The boys are talking, and my headphones are in. The other boys don't seem to notice me, because I'm sitting next to Michael but his back is turned from me and he's talking to the other three. I sit there, texting Jana. I'm telling her about how much I want to go home, coming back on tour with them is the worst thing I've probably done. I hate it, and I hate these boys.

"Renn? We're here," I hear Ashton's voice wake me up. I open my eyes to see him, smiling.
"You fell asleep, come on we're at the hotel," he says, reaching his hand out to lift me up.When we get into the hotel, we settle in and then decide to take a stroll around the city. Boston is really hot and it's supposedly Spring. I walk behind the boys, with Liz and she is telling me about when Luke started to be really into music.
It was when his Granddad was still around, and he used to teach Luke how to hit really high notes, without losing his voice. I smiled, even though I hate Luke. It was nice to hear that Luke had such a dynamic relationship with his grandfather, something that made him who he is now.
"He'll come around," says Liz, "he just puts this big wall around him, and waits for someone to break it. Unfortunately, he doesn't let anyone break it."
I stare at Luke, who's laughing and talking to his three best friends as they walk around the city, getting a little familiar with it. Liz turns to me and then smiles. "Just be patient," she says, and then begins to walk again.
The boys see a red telephone box, and they ask Liz to take a photo of them with it. I roll my eyes and laugh. I take out my phone to take a photo but Michael pulls me in to take a photo. After the photo, I am being pushed into the telephone box, and so is Luke, who almost squishes me against the glass wall.
