Renn

"Don't leave," I say against Luke's chest, as his arms wrap around my shoulders.

"What happened to 'I'll go to 5 shows!' huh?" he asks, kissing my hair.

"But it's not the same," I say.

There are a lot of things on my mind. It's the first long distance relationship, actually its the first relationship I've ever had. Kind of sad, I know.

One thing, is what if Luke forgets about me? I don't mean like caught up in his work, because that I understand. But he's 18, on tour with all guys... and... I mean look at me. I'm not the best looking girl around, but I'm not the ugliest. I hope Luke keeps in mind that he's got me at home.

The second thing, is what if he loses feelings for me? This ties in with the first, but still.

My nerves are making me shake, and I don't want Luke to feel it, and laugh at me. My stomach is in knots, and any moment I could start crying. Liz isn't going on tour with them this time, and has left them in the hands of their manager. She too, could start crying any time. But her hand rests at my back as the boys check in.

"Nervous?" she chuckles.

"More than ever," I admit.

"Just remember, that Luke isn't the one to forget what he's got at home. You'll be on his mind 24/7, and he'll tell you so."

Luke's got me wrapped around his finger, and I feel like it's got it's pros and cons. I would drop anything for him, and the question is, would he do the same?

When the boys are finished, Luke and Michael are talking, and Luke nods, patting Michael's stomach as he walks near me.

"Hey Renny-Boo," says Michael.

"Hey... Mikey-Boo?" I say, laughing.

Michael smiles sadly at me, and I do the same. I end up wrapping my arms tightly around his torso and take in his strong scent. Michael laughs at me. "God Renn, I'm coming back," he says.

"I know," I say, putting my cheek at his chest. "I'll just miss you... a lot."

"Could we talk?" Michael asks.

"We're talking now," I say.

"I mean really talk. There's a Starbucks just over there, what do you say, Caramel Mocha and some words?"

"Put some extra whipped cream on those words then."

I follow Michael to the Starbucks booth and he starts to talk when we are next to each other.

"Now that I'm leaving, and you've heard the mystery song... I want to tell you about it," he says.

"You do?" I ask.

"Yeah. Let's just order."

*****

"About me?" I say, stunned. I may have choked on my mocha, but he doesn't know that. Michael had written The Only Reason for me. I'm the girl he can't help but feel so attracted to.

"Yeah," says Michael. "But listen, that was when I had feelings for you."

Keyword: was.

"So you don't have feelings for me anymore?" I say. Michael nods slowly.
