Welcome to Sydney, Australia, the local time 7.42 in the morning, and the date is 7 October, 2014. Have a great stay in Sydney and thank you for flying with American Airlines.

I take in a deep breath and raise the window shutter. The hot air will hit me soon, and the sun is already out and it burns my eyes. When I go to rub my eyes, I realise I've got an interlocking circles ring on my left ring finger. I smile, and the lady next to me notices. She's an old lady, and she gushes.

"From your boyfriend?" she asks.
"Yeah," I say.
"How cute! How long have you been together?"
"About 2 to 3 months. But we've been through a lot."
"No one said that love takes time. My husband used to buy me heaps of jewellery and we were only about 6 months into the relationship. My mum thought I was using him for money."

I laugh at the old lady and she smiles. "You know he's a keeper when he'll pay anything for you, but you won't know because he's those unpredictable ones."

"My name's Tasha," says the lady.
"Florence," I say, shaking her outstretched hand.

When I go to the lobby, my sister and Roman are there. I smile and run into Verona's arms.

"How was Florida?" she asks.
"Really fun," I say, smiling.

Verona stares at my hand. "What is that?!" she exclaims.

"It's a promise ring," I say, staring at the white gold interlocking rings on my finger.

"He asked you?! At this time?!"

*Flashback*

Luke scratches the back of his neck as he plays with the ring box.

"Ask me what?" I say.
"Nothing," says Luke.
"He's asking you to wear the ring as a symbol of your guys' relationship," says Calum.

I look over at Luke, who's as red as a cherry. "I- well um kinda," he stutters.

I gush with flattery, that's so cute!

"But you um do-don't have t-to. I-it's just a s-suggest-" I cut off my boyfriend by walking over to him, going onto my tip-toes and pressing my lips against his. When I pull away I smile.

"I'd love to," I say, as I open the jewellery box and putting the ring on my finger.

Luke smiles and he blushes even more. What a goof. "I love you," he says, before connecting our lips once again.

*End*

"It's not even a promise ring," I state.
"Whatever! It's a ring! That's all that matters!" exclaims Verona.

The three of us turn around to see heaps of fans. They all have these posters but I can't read it. "What do those posters say?" I ask.

"Oh, something about thanking you. Some followed me to the airport it was the weirdest thing, what happened?" asks Verona.
"Well um... since Luke and I broke up he's been giving poor performances, and then their last performance, he did better than he used to. It was the best show he's done," I say.
"You really have that affect on him huh? What'd you give him, a love spell?"
"I don't know, No, I mean no. I didn't. Agh I don't know. Next question?"

Verona laughs. "He's really got it bad hasn't he?"

I nod, laughing myself. Luke is both the worst and best thing that's ever happened to me, and I don't regret any second with him, okay maybe. But the good parts, not one.
