Renn
"What do you mean he didn't come home last night?" I ask Liz.
"I don't know Sweetheart," she shakes her head. She's as worried as I am."I'm going to go find him," I say.
I was all ready to apologise to Luke, and kiss him happy birthday but now, his mum is telling me she doesn't know where her son, my boyfriend is.
"Ring me as soon as you hear something," says Liz, sighing.
"I will, promise," I say, going in for a hug. Liz hugs me back and gets me out of the house as soon as I can.I didn't get to talk to Luke yesterday, because I was too confused. But I realised that what happened was stupid, and I decided to apologise for being inconsiderate, and because I missed my sweet Luke. Never missed the mean one.
As I drive around my old town, I constantly try and ring Luke, but he doesn't answer so I leave messages. Lots of messages.

My feet are sore from driving, so I've kicked off my heels. I have called Luke's surprise party later, since it's nearly 4 pm and we haven't found him.
Mikey: try the cemetery
Of course! I turn my car around toward the cemetery that Dakota was buried.
When I get there, I don't bother putting my heels on. I'm in a dark blue dress, and a black loose blazer.
I get out of my car, my heels in my hand and I walk toward the boy sitting in front of a headstone, wearing all black. His hair being pushed slightly by the warm wind.
The wind blows my hair to one side as I walk over to the boy, he wipes his face. When I finally get to him, I set my heels next to him and take a seat myself on the dry grass.
Neither of us say anything until Luke clears his throat and starts to speak. "Renn what I said..."
"It doesn't matter," I say, shaking my head.
"Yes it does, you are the complete opposite of what I called you."
"Luke it was a mistake, I know that."
"But I never got to apologise."Luke looks into my eyes and smiles. "I'm so very sorry for being such a dick to you. Would you ever forgive me?" he says, not looking away.
"Of course I forgive you, Birthday Boy," I say, leaning into my boyfriend and kissing his lips softly.
When we pull away, Luke smiles warmly at me. "Thanks," he says.
I look at the headstone where it says Dakota Williams
1 January 1996 - 10 July 2014
Beloved Daughter and Sister"I missed you," I say, wrapping my arm through Luke's. He holds my hand and kisses it.
"Trust me, I missed you more," he says, "a part of me thought you were never coming back."
I look over at him, and then at the fresh flowers he probably put. "I came here to find advice. Dakota was always someone I could go to, for anything," says Luke.
"Did you find any?" I ask.
"No, just a beautiful girl," he says, looking down at me."How cheesy. What about we smoke this joint and head back home?" I say.
"Stop hanging out with Calum," laughs Luke.
"Not my fault. So what's up?"
"I miss her. So much."I nod my head, understanding. Dakota had left so quickly and confusingly.
"I know Luke, I know," I say, rubbing his back.
"When we were 13, that's when I first invited her to my birthday. She wore this weird dress and I laughed because it was super cold outside. She bought me a Blink shirt, the one I wear all the time," says Luke.
"She gave that to you?"
"Yeah. It was like 8 sizes too big. Now it fits perfectly, and I'm too lazy to buy any other shirts."
