Ahsoka Tano; Mightiest Force Wielder (Book 1: The Rise)

Tatooine 4

For the landing on Tatooine, she had put the coordinates of the Mos Eisley port into the computer. While going through the atmosphere of Tatooine though the source clearly told her to go directly to Jabba's palace. Jabba's palace had a tiny port and the VT-49 filled half of its parking space. After touch down, she approached the guard and informed him she had a message for the magistrate. It turned out, that the magistrate wanted to book another trip with her, but they had vanished. He would have to take off tomorrow, if that would be possible. Happily Ahsoka agreed too picking him up the next morning. That one had gone really smoothly. Afterwards she flew out to the crater, where Mike and she had spent so much time. The camouflage net was gone, someone had removed it. She swapped the main energy cell with the spare one because she wanted to be on the safe side. With the little duty done, she wanted to enjoy the evening in the desert laying in the warm sand watching the sun down, imagining Mike putting pieces of food into her mouth and falling asleep. The dessert is getting pretty cold at night, which made her wake up at some point and made her go back into the VT-49 continuing the night in her bed.

Next morning, she picked up the Anx and this time, she had to haul his heavy luggage in herself. Destination was Nar Shadaa. The magistrate informed her, that this is the only trip he is doing, but it is potentially dangerous. This is why he is paying her 5000 credits for that trip only. Ahsoka told him, 5000 credits is fully OK as long as there is no damage to the ship. The magistrate, decided, he would also reimburse her for damages to the ship and in case of fighting give her a bonus. While in hyperspace for Nar Shadaa, Ahsoka thought about checking her com link for any messages. She found 5 messages from Mike. 3 were about 3 months old where he wrote, that he did not understand why she left and he was missing her. In the fourth's one he wrote, that he had to understand, that she does not want to be with him anymore, nevertheless he loves her and wants the best for her. He is writing because he has found a problem with the thought control system. Using the force seems to influence the system, then it does not seem to work correctly. He is working on a solution, but in the mean time she has to be ready to use manual controls immediately, should the thought control behave wired. In the 5th he wrote, that he has a present for her. If she does not want to see him, he can ship it anywhere.

Poor Mike, he still missed her and he was heartbroken too. The problem with the thought control she had already discovered. Well now it was time to write to him, before he turns away from her. Thus she wrote: Dearest Mike, I miss you too and I will be in Coruscant in a little while. I would be very happy to see you. There is much I have to tell you. I have been in a swamp the last three months, no access to the com link, as such, a longer story. Let me know, where I can find you on Coruscant? Love and kisses, Ahsoka.

Nar Shadaa was a city moon in the Hutt system. Similar to Coruscant, its entire surface was covered with buildings. Ahsoka had never been there, but knew, that many inhabitants were criminals one way or another. The source told her she needed to be careful and prepared, she would get into a skirmish. The trip to Nar Shadaa was rather short. The Anx gave her coordinates for a landing platform on one of the higher buildings. Before leaving the ship, the Anx asked her if she had a blaster. Ahsoka opened herself to the force and seeing, that she should send the B2 with the Anx. She made that suggestions to him and he gladly accepted. She also inquired if she should go with him, but he declined, saying he wanted her to be ready for takeoff any time. Ahsoka opened the loading door and instructed the B2 to protect the Anx. It was funny and intimidating at the same time, that Anx followed by a B2 super battle droid. A minute later both of them disappeared in the building. Ahsoka instructed R2 to keep the ship ready for takeoff, then set herself on guard close to the entrance door until about half an hour later, she heard shots and explosions out of the building. Alarmed she ran into the building, shots got louder and she heard people shouting. Following the noise, she came to a straight isle filled with maybe 20 people of various species all armed. All doors in the isle were shut, only one was open. Two guys at the door, were holding their blasters into the room blindly shooting into it. A cannon shot coming from the inside of the room hit the door frame exploding there. The two guys next to the door got badly injured, even though they had not gotten hit directly. A couple of more of these men were hit by particles of the wall and door frame and moved further away from the door. Everybody was so focused on that room, that nobody took notice of Ahsoka. A guy who stood further back, made his way to the door or whatever was left of it. He pulled the locking pin out off a grenade and wanted to throw it in, when Ahsoka used the force to keep it in his hand. Desperately he tried to get it off his hand, until it exploded. The explosion ripped the guy's body open, throwing him against the opposite wall. Maybe three of those who were closest to the door, started to cry, they must have gotten hit by shrapnel of the grenade. With desperation the guys in the isle started to discuss, what they should be doing, but none of them had a good plan. A couple of the guys started to notice Ahsoka, when one of them pulled out a com link, starting to discuss an airborne attack to the room from the outside of the building. All eyes were on him now. Seizing the moment, Ahsoka drew a white light saber and the red magic saber, attacking the guys next to her from their backs. It took 3 seconds and 6 of them were dead. It came as a total surprise to the group of villains. Meanwhile however the men further away from her had opened fire at her and she had to deflect it with the sabers. She could eliminate another with a deflected shot, then pressing the handle of another door pulling it open. The door opened to the inside of the room, thus she quickly had to get into it so to have shelter. Her opponents were continuously firing at the door, at the same time discussing what they should do. Ahsoka looked around the room she was in and saw some people hiding behind tables and shelfs, they seemed to be no danger. She pulled the door out of its hinges using the force, then moving it through the frame into the isle and erecting it again, then getting in behind it and approaching the remaining men. Applying the force she eventually threw the door at those men. Using the moment of surprise she sent all of them into kingdom come with the sabers. Now she turned the sabers off and with a swanky undertone announced: "You're beaten." She approached the opening in the wall which was created by the explosions and yelled inside the room: "It's Ahsoka, I'm coming in." Ahsoka entered after the B2 had responded with a binary OK. Blaster shots had completely destroyed the room, renovation was inevitable. The B2 was down on the ground badly damaged, though still holding his blaster arm up ready to fire at anything. The Anx had hid behind the B2. Ahsoka came in and investigating the Anx, she believed, he was alright. She demanded a damage report from the B2 which revealed, that he could not move out of his own account anymore. The Anx and Ahsoka could have simply left the place, but Ahsoka did not want to leave the B2 behind. In a way, he was part of the family. So she entered the other room of which she pulled the door out approaching the clerks there. Aggressively she demanded an airtrolley. The workers however responded that they did not know where an airtrolley was. Having no better idea, Ahsoka then turned the light sabers on and commanded them all to stand up. Next she directed them into the other room commanding them to lift the B2 up then follow her. The B2 was heavy and big, maneuvering it through the isle took them long. Ahsoka could not wait for it to happen, so she ordered them to haul it into the elevator and then bring it to the landing platform that way. With the Anx following her she was running up the staircase. Coming out of the building stepping onto the landing platform she instructed the Anx to enter the ship, while she was heading down to see what was going on with the B2. Turned out, these people had tried to bring it into the elevator but left it there half way in and disappeared. Getting angry about their desertion did not help, she had to help herself. Thus she used the force to move it in completely, then calling for the landing platform. It seemed ages until the elevator reached the landing platform, even though the lift was not slow. Ahsoka blocked the lift's door, ran over to the VT-49 and requested R2 to open the loading door and bring the ship as close as possible to the lift. R2 immediately acted and Ahsoka again used the force to move the B2 onto the cargo area. R2 then closed the loading door and as fast as possible, Ahsoka climbed into the pilot seat, then flying away from that building and eventually hiding the VT-49 between a couple of smaller towers. The Anx was shocked and terrified. Ahsoka needed further instructions from him about what she should do now, or where to go? Is there somewhere he wanted to go here on Nar Shadaa or should she set course to Tatooine? He immediately opted for Tatooine. A couple of hours later, when dropping the magistrate off at Jabba's palace again, he asked her, if 15000 credits were enough to cover for it all? Ahsoka nodded. Finally he briefed Ahsoka that it was all classified and she may not tell anybody.
