I woke up the next morning with my arm and eye throbbing in pain. I had no idea why until after five minutes of remembering what happened last night. I sat up in my bed and looked over to the bed next to me. Uhura was still sleeping peacfully, so I decided to take a quick shower.

However taking a shower proved to be quite hard with medical wrap on your arm. I tried my best not to get it wet, but in the end it got wet. I was thankful that I was going back over to Leonards to get my arm rewrapped.

When I got out of the shower I wipped the fog off the mirror, and saw my reflection. I almost didn't recognize myself. My left eye was a bit swollen, but all around it was black blue and purple. I sighed realizing that now I'll look less attractive compared to Uhura.

I got dressed in the bathroom, into my standard red cadet uniform. I zipped up my black boots and put my long hair into a high ponytail. All standard. When I walked out of the bathroom the Uhura was up and watching some tv. "Good morning" I said.

She looked up and smiled. "Good morning" She said. "Your eye is looking better."

"Really?" I asked looking into the mirror over the dresser. "It looks pretty bad right now?"

"It was worse last night." Uhura said. "You should probably head over to the doctors room so he can change your bandages. And then you can meet me back here."

"Okay" I said. I walked out of our room and down the sidewalk to room 14. I knocked on the door, and I heard a grumble behind it. "Hello, Leonard. It's me, Bella" I said.

After a couple of seconds the door opened and there stood Leonard only half dressed. He had pants on but no shirt, I quickly dirverated my eyes. "Sorry, I didn't know that you were still getting ready." I stuttered.

"It's fine." He said sounding less grumpy. "Come in, and I'll change your bandages once I put on a shirt."

"Good idea" I said. He walked in the room, and I followed. I took a seat on the rumpled up bed, and waited patiently until McCoy came out of the bathroom. When he did he came carrying his med bag. He kneeled down next to me, and started unraveling the medical warp.

"How's everything feeling?" He asked.

"It was all throbbing when I woke up, but it doesn't hurt as much as it did before." I said. "Thanks to you" I looked up at him into his brown eyes.

"It's my job to help clumsy people like you." He smiled. I gave him my fake pouty face, and he laughed. Once he was done unwrapping it I peeked my head and saw the wound. To my surprise the wound was almost all closed, and it looked healthy (as far as wounds go).

"How did it heal so quickly?" I asked as he took out another wrap throwing the bloody one aside.

He began to wrap it like he did last night with great care. "The ointment I put on it helps seal the wound faster. I'm technically not supposed to use it yet because it's not realesed yet to the public, but I didn't feel like stiching you up last night." He said as he finished.

"Umm, thank you" I said wondering if that met anything. When he finished up with my arm he went to my eye, and did a bunch of test to make sure my vision wasn't impaired or anything.

"There all fixed." He said standing back up. "Well mostly" I smiled.

"So in Starfleet do you plan on working as one of the medics on one of the ships?" I asked also standing up.

"Where ever they need me I'll go." He said putting his stuff in his bag. I didn't want to pry anymore. I walked to the door.

"I guess I'll see you on the suttle back to the Starfleet?" I asked.
