I roll my eyes at Javale's text as I responded... It was his typical attitude for everything, and I loved him for it. I really wanted to go to the next game, I still had classes to attend, and I had one more free absence I check my other texts, and see that they were mostly people from high school, and family members saying they've seen me on t.v. I reply to Ayesha saying I was waiting to go through security before meeting with John to go home. I still had classes to attend, and I didn't have any more free absences left. I had to choose them wisely now! It's finally my turn, and I quickly finish up before practically running through the halls. I get to the exit and walk out.
I look around for John and find him watching a game recap from game 2. I tap him on the shoulder, and he turns around with an annoyed look on his face before he sees him. "SUZY", I get pulled into a hug, and I pull away quickly. He grabs my luggage from me and even takes my backpack. He never does this, so I start getting suspicious.
