"This game is so rigged!" Logan whined as he wasted money on another round of the dart game where you throw darts on the balloons in hopes that they'll pop.

"I could've told you that ten rounds ago," I scoffed at him,

"One more round?" he offered and I grabbed his hand pulling him away,

"Let's go," I laughed at him,

We had lost the rest of the gang earlier and just decided to go one without them.

"But I wanted to win you something!" he complained,

Then I saw a cotton candy cart and I nearly melted.

I love cotton candy.

"I know how you could make it up to me?" I told him excitedly and his eyes brightened,

"How?"

"Buy me some cotton candy?" I offered and he led me to the stall.

"One cotton candy please" Logan asked the sweet lady at the cart while he pulled out his wallet.

I stared at how the made it and how the pink floss wrapped around the white stick.

Logan laughed at me as he handed me the cotton candy, "You're such a kid, I swear"

"Shut up and let me enjoy my cotton candy".

We walked towards the Ferris wheel, sharing the cotton candy until we finished and threw it in a nearby bin.

We waited in line for the Ferris wheel, it was a surprisingly short line- probably because the sky was dark now and most people had gone home,

Logan turned to me smiling.

"You've got a little cotton candy on your face" he said his arm outstretched, his hand cupped my cheek and he wiped a spot at the side of my mouth, then he sucked the cotton candy off his thumb.

I bit my bottom lip and turned to face the front of the line, where people were boarding onto the carriages. I was blushing furiously and I looked down at my feet, letting my hair cover my cheeks.

Logan chuckled.

We got onto the large Ferris wheel, which was decorated, in fairy lights, they seemed to twinkle under the night sky and I stood in awe of how pretty it looked.

We stepped into a brightly lit carriage and closed the door.

Then the boy in front of me started shaking the cart,

"Ryder, I swear to God" I warned him playfully and he chuckled in response.

Logan and I sat on opposite sides but the chairs were so close that our knees were touching,

As we edged higher and higher 'Say you won't let go' by James Arthur played through the speakers at the corner of the carriage.

I looked down at the brightly lit carnival where people laughed and had fun; where people looked happy.

It was beautiful.

I met you in the dark,

You lit me up,

You made me feel as though,

I was enough,

We danced the night away,

We drank too much,

I held your hair back when,

You were throwing up.
