"I have the worst hang over" Anna complained, rubbing her temples as she lay on the couch next to me, Logan was upstairs in his bedroom still asleep on Thursday morning, I decided to skip school with them.
"I wonder why" I muttered in response, switching the channel to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"I'm not really in the mood to listen to your sarcasm, Alex" Anna groaned and I rolled my eyes, leaving the living room and walking up to Logan's bedroom.
I could hear shuffling around so I knocked on the door, it opened a few seconds later.
Logan looked up at me, his eyes full of remorse.
"I'm so fucking sorry" Logan said as he held the door open for me to come in, I walked in and sat on the edge of his bed,
"I was- I was upset about what happened to Beth and I didn't know what to do, I needed an outlet and when Anna said there was a party I-"
"There is already so many things wrong with that sentence" I deadpanned and he looked away.
"First of all, why would you leave Beth alone when she needs you, Logan, you're her brother, how could you go out and party while-"
"I know! I'm sorry... I can't believe I-" he paced around the room but I cut him off,
"And you need an outlet? A party? Alcohol? Getting drunk? That's your outlet? You can talk to me Logan, I don't know what made you think that I wouldn't be here to listen to you, I'm always here for you," I told him.
He nodded solemnly.
"And you were hanging out with Anna?" I raised my eyebrows at him,
His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at me, "Are you jealous, Alexandra?"
I turned my attention to my feet, which seemed to be the most interesting thing in the last five seconds.
"Nothing is going on between us, I swear",
I nodded slowly, I trusted Logan enough to know he was genuine about it.
He sighed loudly after a few moments of silence, "I'm so sorry, that was such a stupid thing for me to do, I should've been there with Beth right next to her and holding her, she must've been so scared- God I'm such an idiot" he muttered, running his hands through his hair.
"I'm sorry for making you come over there and picking me up and being an asshole and-"
"I'm not the one you should be apologising to"
"I know" he muttered as I stood up in front of him, he wrapped his arms around my waist and I couldn't help but lean my head against his chest.
"I messed up"
"Yeah, you did"

"Where were you last night? Mia said you were at a friend's place" Noah said to me as I walked into the house at around the same time school finished and I got home so it wouldn't be suspicious.
"Uh- Yeah at my friend's house, Anna" I told him and it scared me how easily that came out of my mouth,
Noah hummed in response.
I walked over to the kitchen, Gracie trotting next to me, where Noah sat on one of the barstools of the kitchen island happily munching away on an apple.
"How was your day?" He asked me,
"Fine" I answered, grabbing a red apple from the fruit bowl in front of us.
