My head was pounding as the vision had ended leaving me confused. I was still surrounded by darkness but I could hear a few voices talking.

They sounded so distant but I knew that they were closer than they seemed.

Straining to listen, I recognized a few voices. Omar and Alexander was arguing about something concerning mates whilst Ameera and an unknown voice tried to calm them down, but it wasn't working.

"She's up," I heard the unknown voice say, which had instantly stopped the brothers squabble.

I felt two different pair of hands on either side of me, but only one caused sparks to race through my body making me eager to open my eyes, but it felt as if something was weighing them down.

"Can you open your eyes?" I heard Omar ask. His voice was hoarse and thick as his grip tightened on my hand.

I tried to open my eyes once again but it was as if they were glued shut.

Seeing as my eyes didn't want to open, I thought that I could use my voice to comfort him instead.

All I wanted to do was telling him how much I loved him, but it was like my mouth had been stitched together and it was hurting a great deal.

There was nothing I could do to let him know that I was hearing him and that too saddened me.

All of a sudden I was being pulled away from the voices and into a dark lane of memories in the deepest corners of my mind. I felt like a prisoner in my own body and I despised that feeling.

He was staring back at me so intensely with those striking silver eyes. His curly, short black hair was being blown around gently by the light breeze as we were consumed in each others  features. He was very good looking as I admired every inch of his chiselled face.

As he steadily walked towards me, I snapped out of my trance as he stopped in front of me. He gently run his fingers across my cheek before putting a strand of hair behind my air.

"Soon," was all he said, before he turned and walked away from me.

I was dragged back out of the corner of my mind as my eyes flew open and I started muttering words in my native language.

Strong arms wrapped around me before pulling me into a solid chest. I took slow breaths of his forest mint scent as I attempted to calm myself down.

Alexander let out a soft growl as he had to watch his brother hold me in his arms, but I didn't care about the questions I would be bombarded with later. I just knew that soon I would be saying goodbye.

"What does erchetai mean?" Alexander asked, wrongly pronouncing the word but that wasn't my main focus right now.

A few tear drops run down my cheek as his words replayed in the back of my mind. I always knew that he could keep his words although right now I was wishing that he didn't.

"Speak to us Nyx." Omar's voice was calm as he stroke my hair, rocking me back and forth in his arms.

"It means he's coming." My voice was barely above a whisper. There was silence in the room as everyone processed my words.

"Who's coming?" Ameera questioned, worry written all over her face.

I shook my head, my curls bouncing as I did so. "He's coming, I just know it."

Alexander looked at the doctor and Ameera as he told them to leave. "We have a few questions for her." He didn't leave any room for an argument so they just did as they were told.

I moved out of Omar's arm and rested my back on the chair's arm while holding my legs and rocking back and forth.

I began chanting "erchetai" over and over again while I let the tears stream down my face like a waterfall.

"Calm down Nyx," Alexander said, placing his hand on my shoulder, but he quickly pulled it back with surprise written all over his face.

"What is it?" Omar asked worriedly, not sure what was now going on with his brother.

Alexander shook his head in disbelief. "I don't feel sparks like before."

My eyes opened wide as my jaw dropped at this new information. That meant his plan was already in action and everything was happening just the way he wanted it to.

"Elise, Anna!" I yelled, as I tried to feel a connection with them both, but felt nothing. It was gone and I no longer felt them.

"What is going on with you Nyx and you better not give me no half ass story," Omar said, his voice rising with sudden anger. This was the first time that I had heard him speaking this way since it was usually how Alexander was being he is an Alpha.

Wiping away my tears, I said, "I guess it's time I told you both the truth."

They looked at me curiously waiting for me to begin my little story.

"Alexander," I began looking him in the eyes. "You was never my mate, Omar is."

"But, I don't understand," he stuttered, trying to make sense of what I had just said.

I let out a soft, humorless chuckle as I shook my head seeing how confused both Alexander and Omar looked.

"Well I think it's about time you guys know what I am seeing as you know that I am not a werewolf."

They looked at me curiously trying to see where this was going to.

"I'm a witch."
