Chapter 7

"Is that all?" I asked
"Yes." Sane said. "Actually, No."

"What else?" I said politely.
"I need to speak with you." He said walking pass me and closing the door.

"Me? What for sir." I acted dumb.
"I broke up with Kim." He said standing in front of me.

"Oh, I'm so sorry the hear that." I said.
"Can you just cut the act I'm trying to talk to you."

"Ughhhh. Fine. What?" I rolled my eyes.
"Please don't be like that Sky." He whispered.

"I hope you didn't break up with your girl for me." I raised my brows.

"No. I had my own reasons." He said softly

"Why didn't you say something to me?" I said angrily

"I know I should have, I'm sorry." He said.
"It's just that, I had such a nice time with you. Me just being myself. I haven't felt that way in years."

I sighed and sat down.
"I get it, but you still cheated on your girlfriend with me."

"Yyyeeeennnnah I wouldn't say cheat. I broke up with her before I took you on the date, but I obviously she didn't get the message."

"Ha! Good lie. well, the sex was great and I'm glad we could settle this." I got up to leave but he held my hand and pulled me into a kiss.

I was surprised but I kissed him back before pulling him away.
"Sky, I like you." He whispered "I'm so sorry, please forgive me."

"Sane, I forgave you a long time ago. I just don't trust you." I looked into his eyes

"Sky you got to believe me. I didn't cheat on Kim with you." He held my cheek.

I was riding peacefully on the elevator when Natalie stepped in.

"I need you stay out of our business." She randomly said.

"What?" I asked.
"You told Paris he had good taste in rings." She snorted.

"I just thought it was beautiful. Why wouldn't you like it?"
"Because it's too fucking small. I want a bigger diamond to show."

I laughed at her. She can't be serious.
"Well, I hope you two have a happy life together." I walked off the elevator shaking my head.

Oh Paris is going to be so crush. She's not the one for him.
I would be if I had a chance

Walking to the parking garage I saw Sane leaning on my car on his phone.

"I just left you upstairs." I said popping my trunk

"This is what you drive?" He points to my Tesla. "You secretly have money."

"Oh, hush. It was a gift from my dad." I said

"Now move." I fan him away.
But instead of moving he grabbed my hip and pull me in into him.

"Stop." I gasped "people are gonna see."

"Let them see, I love a show." He whispered into my ear and my body quivers.

"Sane-" I whispered.
"I love it when you say my name like that." His husky voice took me back to the same night we had sex.

I managed to get away from his grip.

"Why are you here?" I asked him trying to control my breathing.

"I wanted to invite you to my Green Party Saturday." He said trying to cover his boner.

"Okay, I'll be there." I said "now move so I can home and do what my boss told me to do."

"Okay." He opened my door and watch as I got in.
"Drive safe, he kissed my forehead before kissing my lips.

"You too." I said before I drove off.

"I agree with him." Cap said. "He's telling you a shit load of lies."

"Well I believe he isn't." I mumble
"So all of a sudden he's attracted to you now." Syrus said.

"He said he really likes me." I looked between "just let me enjoy this. Please."

"Fine. But don't come crying to me when his fire heart melts yours." Syrus said.

"Syrus, why are you still here?" I rolled my eyes

"The sex is great here." He winked at Cap and she giggled.

"Whatever, ew."
