(day of the summer showcase)
Today is the big day
The day of the summer showcase
The day I do my solo dance and I am so fricken nervous, I know I've practiced countless times but I'm still scared I'm going to mess up
"Hey are you feeling okay?" I hear a voice ask me. I turn around and see Kelly standing there looking amazing. She's wearing a white t-shirt with a black waist jacket over the top, black ripped jeans and black and white checkered converses. Her hair was half up and half down, she has red lipstick on and eyeliner.
"Uh yeah I guess just really nervous" I reply feeling really embarrassed because I probably spent 5 minutes staring at Kelly
"It's going to okay you don't need to worry" Kelly reassures me giving me a quick kiss on the cheek when no one was looking
"MISS MAYFIELD YOUR UP NEXT" a teacher shouts
Kelly gives me a hug before I head up to the stage and taking my starting position. The music I chose was jar of heart. As I danced my red wispy dress flew in different directions.
*end of performance*
I take a bow then walk of stage. so many people congratulated me about my performance, I thankfully didn't mess up thats what I'm proud about.
"Babe that was amazing" Kelly whispers wrapping her arms around shoulder, well she tried anyway its cute that she is a tiny bit smaller than me.
"Well your up next and you're going to be amazing" I tell her returning her hug
"I hope so I've been practicing for months" Kelly giggles picking up her guitar and heading towards the stage.
sorry for the short chapter i couldn't think of that much to write for this but the next chapter is gonna be longer than this one
