Grace's pov

I arrive back home ready to tell parents about me and Kelly. I walk through the front door and into the kitchen where I a see mum cooking and dad reading the newspaper.
"Mum, dad I need to tell you something important" I stutter nervously
"Yeah what is it dear?" Mum replies
"I'm gay and I have a girlfriend"   I say reply quickly with my eyes screwed shut.
"Oh darling that's good you have come to terms with who you are, we will always support you and If you happy then we are happy" Dad replies getting up and giving me a hug
"You're not angry" I say surprised
"Of course not dear! Who's the lucky lady?" My mother wrapping her arms around me
"Her name is Kelly Ridgewood and she is my world" I giggle. I decided to leave out the entire suicide thing that happened. I could see how happy mum and dad looked and it made me happy
"oh honey thats so sweet and by the way your performance was amazing in the showcase" Mum giggles continuing with dinner and I could tell dad has lost interest in the conversation.
"Thank you" I say and head up to my room. Once I get inside I change into some pyjamas

Grace- hey xx
Kelly- hey you doing okay? xx
Grace- yeah I'm doing okay, what about you?
Kelly- I just got home and I'm making a sandwich
Grace- Yum. I just told my parents about us
Kelly- what did they say? xx
Grace- they said as long as I'm happy then they're happy
Kelly- that's amazing
Grace- I know right, I'm sorry I have to go I will talk to you later. Love you <3
Kelly love you too byeeeeeeee <3

I walk down the stairs to get my dinner then I head back up to my room.
I took out my phone and decided to scroll through my Instagram.My feed was basically hair, nails, makeup, band stuff and the friends I follow. It was going well until I came across Lillian's account, my heart stopped and I started to panic, There were so many videos of me and Kelly kissing and so many photos of us holding hands. by this point I knew I was about to have a panic attack.

I decide to ring Kelly

Kelly- hello?
Grace- It's Grace I have some bad news
Kelly- Babe calm down
Grace- Lillian has videos of us kissing and photos of us holding hands at the park earlier!
Kelly- What!
Grace- I've just seen the posts the whole school knows!
Kelly- Grace calm down I'm on my way over right now see ya in a few mins

I just sat staring at the photos and videos reading they comments and they were so hateful.
'fag' 'queer'  'tramp'  'emo' How dare they say that kind of thing. I drop the phone and sit and just wait for Kelly, she is all I need right now, we're gonna get through this together I know it. As long as we have each other its gonna be okay right?
