Dumbledore POV

I was getting angry.
I would have needed the twins and their shop. We are short in resources, aside from Ilvermony, no headmaster is on my side, and he wasn't worth shit.

I was sitting in my room at the leaking cauldron and thinking about a better plan. After Harry's capture and Neville's disappearance, no one matched my fake prophecy, I would need to improvise.
I went down to get a drink at the bar, when I saw two young ladies entering diagon ally.
I sat myself down and observed the scenery. Families were sitting around happily and friends were drinking a butterbeer together.

It was far too happy.

There was a war going on, and nobody seemed to care.
That was the reason nobody was to follow my side. Many of the old ones didn't believe that the Voldemort would win, Harry would defeat him, they thought.
And the young ones aren't the type of fighters I needed. But they would make a good human shield, when I thought about it.

To make the old stand up, I would just publish an article stating Harry was killed. When Voldemort had him, he was nearly dead. And I would get a new savior for the young ones, oh yeah.
I gripped my drink and observed some more. There were no children in the right age here. Most of them were at Hogwarts, where I couldn't go.
And I couldn't let something so important be done by one of my pawns.

Then the prefect person entered. He was tall, but not too tall. He looked somewhat fragile, it would be easy to cast a Imperius on him.
He was directed to Tom, but I caught him. "I'm sorry, young man, could you help me to return to my room, I can't walk the stairs alone." I asked him with my grand-father look.
"Of course, sir."
I lead me upstairs, and he dropped me of in front of my door. "Well thank you boy. Your mother raised a good man." I complimented him.

"I was raised by my godparents, my real parents died when I was an infant." Really, this boy was perfect.
"Then let me give you a present, my dear." I said and pulled out my wand. "IMPERIO" his eyes became dazed and he somewhat slumped. This is going so well! I didn't know the boy's name, but that shouldn't be the problem.

Some days later

I was sitting in the burrow on their eating table, after Tom kicked me out of the leaking cauldron. In front of me was the daily Prophet, with the headline "HARRY POTTER DEAD?!"
Young Paul was sitting next to me, eating his cereal. I found out his name yesterday, when I broke the Imperius for a moment.

Mrs. Weasley was mothering the boy and nobody was suspicious. I made it look like he fit the person of the prophecy.
I had received a letter from Hermione, telling me that she and her baboon of a boyfriend had destroyed the next horcrux.
Everything was going good so far, and Paul would be ready to join Granger and Weasley next month. I was just about to stand up, when Mrs Weasley sat herself down next to me.

"Dumbledore, I am worried about Ginny. Now that Harry is dead, she will be alone soon. Without a fiance, I don't feel like she will be safe out there." Mrs. Weasley had always wanted a daughter to spoil, and she hoped to marry her off to a rich wizard.
I had made a connection between Harry and Ron for the sake of Harry meeting Ginny, so that the woman would be happy and her family would stay on the light side.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Weasley. There are many men out there, just waiting for an outstanding woman like Ginny. I will be giving you names shortly." In the afternoon I looked through stocks of young men on the light side that I could couple Ginny with.
I hoped for Ginny to be as successful in reproducing like her mother, to help repopulate the wizarding race. I soon found a fitting suitor, I would give him some Amortentia in the beginning, and the rest will do his magic by itself.

I would need to hold a meeting soon, maybe soon after Christmas. It was nice that my plan was working so good.

Hahahaha.
