Part 31. Singing my Heart out on Purpose.

Mayas Pov:

I walk over to the stairs and wait til the beginging of Love feels like loneliness starts when it's my que I go on stage.

"You're not asking for much but
It just seems like a lot and
Kinda confused, don't know what to choose

But darling, it's not the way to get me baby, no" I smile and move across the stage happily I loved seeing all the smiling faces. When I look into the crowd and spot Lucas.

I stare at him and begin to sing the next part "Oops, didn't mean to make you love me

Love feels like loneliness sometimes." I keep singing til the end and I stop and take a deep breath and stare at the crowd. Some people shout I love yous and your hots.

"How's everybody doing tonight?" I ask. They all give a big cheer I smile.

"Wonderful, you all are so beautiful such an amazing crowd. I'm really happy to be here tonight. I actually have a few surprises for you guys tonight." They cheer once agian. One of the surprises was Riley going to sing a song with me I talked to her about earlier and she said yes which I was happy about and the other was me singing on purpose because I haven't sang it yet in front of anyone.

"Well for my first surprise I'm sure some of you know her from my many Snapchat stories and my Instagram pictures with her. Come on out Bubbles." I say looking to the side of the stage and Riley walks over to me and the crowd cheers.

"This is Riley if some of you didn't know. She actually surprised me with coming here tonight which is amazing." I say happily.

"Actually I have another surprise for you Sab." Riley tells me I stare at her and give her the what face.

"Don't worry everybody will find out what it is short enough but until then let's sing a song." Riley says. Now I'm confused but okay.

"Uh right. So since Riley and me are best friends and we've had our hardships and everything but we've never been closer and I love her so much. There was a song I wrote on my first album and I'm sure some of you guys know what I'm talking about. Here's Seamless." I say happily and hand Riley a microphone.

"Good morning, you're leaving

New adventures on the way." Riley sings first she had such a wonderful voice.

Every second every day." We sing together. We finish the song and everyone cheers and is happy. Riley walks off stage then I sing Mirage, then Space.

I take a deep breath. My face appears on the screen and that's my que to go change. I run off stage and quickly to my dressing room I change into a black outfit. When I start to run back out Lucas stops me.

"Sab we really need to talk." He says.

"Lucas I can't right now." I tell him I'm not lying I really can't right now.

"Fine." He says softly. "I think I'm gonna go though." He says.

"Oh." Is all I say.

"I'm gonna get the keys from Farkle then I'll go." He says.

"Sabrina you have to be back on stage now." One of the stage managers tells me. I want to talk to Lucas but I cant. By the time I look back at Lucas he was already walking down the hall.
I had to go back on stage.

"Hey guys." I can feel my chest weighing in why haven't I talked to Lucas. I look around and I spot him talking to Farkle asking for the keys. He looks at me no emotion no nothing.

"Um for this next song it's something I just wrote a couple days ago it's about this kinda realationship I was in. I say kinda because we weren't really together but I know we weren't not together you know. This is on purpose I hope you all like it." Lucas has his attention on me now. Still no emotion though.

With you" Lucas still had no emotion but that didn't matter to me. I was showing my emotion rather I knew what it was yet or not.

But I guess that we did it on purpose." I sing my little heart out. After I finish singing Riley walks on stage. Which wasn't really apart of my plan.

"Riley what are you doing?" I ask genuinely confused.

"Something don't worry." Riley says.

"Ladies and gentlemen I have an announcement!" Riley says happily on the speaker. I stare at her.

"Sabrina Carpenter is moving back to New York. Which she will star in a New show called Universe is Her. It was so secret that she didn't even know about it." Riley says with a smile. I remember going to the audition for the role but they never gave me a call back I thought I didn't get it. I smile happily.

"That's amazing!" I say happily. Riley gives me a big hug.

"Well that's all I wanted to say carry on." Riley says happily walking off stage. I sing Shadows, then Run and hide , then Dont want it back, then All we have is love, then Last I sing Thumbs. The show was over after that. I had a great night. I head back to my dressing room to find Riley and Farkle.

"Where's Lucas?" I ask.

"I thought he told you that he left?" Farkle asks.

"Oh I just thought he would stay."
