Hi everyone. For my post I will give you the prologue of Catching Amalthea plus three reasons to read my new book. But before that I would love to thank the amazing KellyAnneBlount who allowed me to be here. She is also the reason behind this event. Withought her this event may not even take place. It's a lot of effort on her part. Without further ado I give you my post. Enjoy.

It was a wonderful sunny morning and the people of Asmerelda were happily dancing, cheering, and laughing.

The rich, poor, old, and young gathered at the beautiful garden, which was located in the front of the castle, for the feast the king and queen had arranged in honor of their soon to be son/daughter.

The firstborn would be the heir to the throne. The people all chatted. Each more excited then the last. Finally after years of waiting they would see their future king/queen.

An old woman walked up to the brown gates of the castle.

The castle was surrounded by water. No one could pass withought an invitation. One would surely die trying.

Across the water is the enchanted garden, where the feast is held.

After going through the enourmous garden they would see themselves at the front gates of what is one of the most if not the most beautiful castle.

The castle was made to impress with seven towers and beautiful banners.

The old woman slipped inside the castle unnoticed.

"Bad times are to come," she whispered. She grabbed the bundle of blankets and walked away.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

People inside the castle were just as excited as the ones outside.

Servants were all over the place. They ran trying to get things were they needed to be, sometimes colliding with one another only to smile and walk away to attend to their duties.

All head maids were at duty. They had been given specific orders on what their jobs would be for the speacial day.

One head servent ordered the chefs on what food to prepare. While the gaurds distributed the cooked food under the care of another head servant.

Younger maids gossiped as they passed one another only to get mildly scolded at.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

"Stop," the queen shouted. She ran towards the old woman and snatched the bundle of blankets.

"Where were you taking my daughter? This is a crime above all and I will have you executed." The queen after much trying had been blessed with a beautiful baby girl which they named Amalthea.

The old woman looked at the queen. She is as beautiful as everyone says she is the woman thought enviously.

"Forgive me my queen," she took out a dagger and stabbed the queen in the stomach.

The queen looked horrified as the old woman snatched her daughter. Millions of questions swirled inside her head.

Yet she couldn't find the strength to ask them.

"Wolfsbane," the queen spat.

The old woman ran not hearing the queen.

>>>>>>>>>>>

The king walked towards the room where his two most beloved beings were. He smiled as he met his best friend, companion, and the king of the neighboring countries with his son.

All of them reached the room only to see the queen dead.

The king rushed towards his fallen queen and gently took her in his hands. The king prayed and prayed for a pulse but couldn't find one.

Suddenly he ran towards the crib only to see it empty. The king fell on his knees while his friend tried to give him support but to no avail.

"Gaurds," the king shouted, "I want you to find out who did this and find my daughter or don't bother coming back."

The gaurds searched day and night but couldn't find the girl.

Ultimately they gave up and returned home.

This was the last straw for the king. After that a cloud of sadness hovered over the kingdom. The king was never the same again. He became angry, often punishing people over the smallest of things. Not once did the people smile or laugh. For they feared the punishment of the king.

Now I will give you three reasons to read Catching Amalthea.

Reason Numer 1. Catching Amalthea IS NOT a cliche book.

Reason Number 2. My two lead characters are played by these two men. Yup with every update I give you pics of the cast. You can ogle at them all day long. Yet, I also have other less important males and females who will also need an actor or actress play them. And fear not they will not be deprived of beauty
