Hello there everyone! I'm Khan and this is my very first post in the Wattpad Block Party! I'm pretty excited to share this with all of you here, so I really hope you'll find this post helpful in a sort of way but trust me, you'll feel much better after reading this :P

Things will get worst when you scroll down to read this so, beware! I mean it, beware! You'll laugh your ass of due to how cringy and stupid this post will be xD So today, I'll be sharing with all of you the first chapter of my very first-planned novel I ever posted on Wattpad.

If you've been with me since the start, you'll recognise the story as The Naotak Chronicles: The Ring of Fire. I know, it sounds preposterous! But if you're new to who I am, so get your seat belts buckled up and prepare for a horrible ride through my first draft of this story.

Please bear in mind that I haven't edited this ever since I've written this when I was 15, so, I'm sorry of how stupid and awful my writing is :P

CHAPTER ONE: RYAN

As Ryan opens his eyes, he could see light. The light shines through the window of his cozy bedroom. The bedroom is small. The only furniture that is in the room was a single bed, dressing table, and his cupboard, just simple and nice. He checked the calendar; today is the 31st July of the year 2015, the day of the summer holidays' beginning.

He sat on his single bed and rubbed his sleepy eyes and then stared at the clock which was hanged on the wall in front of him. It was already nine o'clock. 'Nine!' he thought. Ryan then recalled what his best friend, Jesse had said yesterday;

"Come tomorrow at ten o'clock, at the school's gazebo."

It's an hour from now. So, he took his bath and wore a fresh blue T-shirt and jeans and raced down the flight of stairs below him. His mom, Grace Reynolds was already making breakfast for him. Mom looked at him and smiled;

"Good morning, honey!"

"Good morning, mom!" Ryan replied.

"Where are you going? You're wearing jeans and are you in hurry?" asked Mom. Ryan studied Mom's beautiful face. She has blue eyes just like him and has long blond hair with streaks of grey. Mom must be crying last night because yesterday, it has been a month since his father, John Reynolds, died in a plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean killing eight-five out of one hundred and twenty including crew. The weird thing is that his dad's body and the others have never been found until now. Even before his dad's death, Mom cried every day. He asked why, but his mom will always reply the same-old words; "Go! It's none of your business."

He pushed the thought about his parents away and replied;

"Yeah, I'm going to meet my friends at school and then watch a movie and yes, I'm in hurry."

"Come! Sit and eat your pancakes!" said Mom gracefully. Ryan sat on the dining chair and ate his pancakes which were very scrumptious. He ate about five pieces and then he rushed to the door. Mom then said;

"Come home early! I've got surprise for you and your friends! And, oh—bring your friends home by three in the evening, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I will! Bye mom!" replied Ryan in hurry.

"Bye!" replied Mom and then she rushed to the kitchen to wash the dishes.

He walked.

He doesn't want Mom to send him there because it will only take eight minutes to reach his school; Nazareth Regional High School, Brooklyn. He kept asking himself; "What surprise will Mom give to him and his friends?" He pushed the thought away. He'd moved here a month ago, after his father's death. Ryan and Mom just lived in an ordinary terrace house along E 54th street which is a two story with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a garage where Mom's Audi Q7 was placed. That car was a gift from his dad on Mom's birthday, three days before his dad's death.
