I woke up in the middle of night, from a nightmare. They had been happening often now. I got out of the bed, careful not to wake my husband, Shiro. I walked outside to the open field. The grass swayed slightly under the soft breeze. I walked a bit before taking the ground as my seat. I rubbed my eyes, this was all so new for me. Loving someone, outwardly. I tried my best to give him affection when it felt appropriate. I held his, sometimes. And even kissed on the lips in front of people. But it was hard sometimes, to show it, love. I heard his footsteps through the silent night.
"Again?" He asked sitting beside me. I nodded looking up, finding some constellations through out the sky. He came closer, pulling me on his lap, resting his head on mine. I began blushing,
"S-Shiro...?" I whispered, he smiled at me.
"I love you, Y/n. You everything I could ever ask for," he kissed the side of my head, snuggling me close.
"I love you too."
