Kara walked into the DEO confidently with a smile on her face. She swiftly ran behind her sister and hugged her. "Great job on the bank robbery just now." Alex said to her sister. "Thank you." Kara said. "Alex," Kara said looking at her sister with a face that gave away the fact that Alex wouldn't like what her sister was about to say "iwanttotelllenathatiamsupergirl." Kara said quickly. "What?" Alex asked. "I, I want to tell Lena that I'm Supergirl." Kara asked, not bringing her eyes up off the floor, to avoid the look her sister would give her.

"Kara, you know that you can't." Alex said. "Alex, she hasn't done anything wrong. I don't see why I can't tell her. She wont tell anyone and you know that!" Kara said. "Yes but, if you do tell her, you are risking her life. Would you want Lena to be kidnapped or held hostage or used against you? She could get hurt. I told Maggie, but if she gets hurt. It's on me. And besides, we still don't know if we can trust her." Alex said, instantly regretting her last sentence.

"You do not get to play that card, Alex. And whether I tell her or not, it's not you're choice to make." Kara started narrowing her eyes. "Just because her last name is Luthor doesn't mean anything. I don't care who her mother or father or brother is. She is my girlfriend. I thought you trusted her. Lena slept over at your house. I can protect her, Alex. And if she does get hurt, I will blame it on myself. But I will make sure that won't happen. Ever... you know what? I shouldn't have even asked." Kara said with tears forming in her eyes. She turned around and stormed out of the DEO. "Kara. Kara!" Alex said calling after her sister. Alex slammed her fist on her work table.

(two days later)

Lena was overjoyed. She still couldn't believe she could call Kara her girlfriend. Just the thought of using that word made her giddy with excitement. She spent the whole morning just daydreaming instead of doing work.

She was taken back to reality when Jess knocked on her office door. Lena looked at the time, 12:27. "Fuck" Lena muttered under her breath.
"Oh, sorry to bother you Ms Luthor." Jess said apologetically. "Oh, no. It's certainly not you Jess it's just I'd lost track of time." Lena said. Jess nodded understandingly, "Ms Kara Danvers is here to see you. She said she knows you but I wanted to check with you." Jess said. A grin grew on Lena's face. "Make sure Kara is let in whenever she needs." Jess nodded. "I will send her in now." She said walking away.

Kara walked through the door with a cheesy grin on her face and a box of chocolates in her hand. Lena walked over and hugged Kara. "I missed you, Kara" "I missed you too." Kara said, handing Lena the chocolates. Lena smiled and put the small box on her desk.

"I need to talk to you." Kara said taking Lena's hand and walking to the sofa. "Kara, what's wrong?" Lena asked. "You can't tell anyone, not that you will. And please don't be mad at me. I wouldn't be able to live if you were mad at me. And I'm so sorry for not telling you earlier, it's just." Kara sighed. Lena hugged Kara "Darling, whatever it is, you can tell me. I promise I won't be upset, and I definitely won't tell anyone." she whispered.

Kara looked up at her girlfriend. She hadn't noticed she was crying until Lena wiped the tears away with her thumb.

"I'm Supergirl." Kara said, taking off her glasses.

"I always knew it was you, Kara." Lena said, leaning in to kiss Kara.

When they pulled away, Lena was smiling. "Besides, I'm not an idiot, and anyone can see past those glasses." Lena chuckled. Kara smacked Lena's leg lightly and chuckled. "Thanks for understanding." Kara said. Lena nodded.

"I love you, Kara." Lena smiled.

"I love you, Lena." Kara replied.

Alex called Kara. Again. For the 17th time. She didn't answer. "Damn it!" Alex yelled. Maggie put her arm around her girlfriend. They were in Maggie's apartment. "Sorry." Alex said. "It's okay. Kara's just upset. She'll get over it." Maggie reassured her. "No, but I screwed up! I'm so fucking stupid." Alex groaned. "Alex, stop. She's your sister, Kara will forgive you. You made a mistake. It happens to everyone. Even Kara." Maggie said, trying to convince her girlfriend. "Give it a few days."
