"Kara?" Lena called from the bedroom when she realized kara wasn't with her. Lena got out of bed and picked up her phone, in case she had to call her. Then she changed into a turquoise tube top, a pair of black shorts, and a pair of shoes. She brushed her hair and made sure it was straight, deciding to skip on a ponytail today. She'd been getting headaches lately because of how tight they were.

Once she had brushed her teeth and washed her face, she exited the bedroom and went into the living room.

The lights were off and all the blinds were closed, which is unusual because Kara never leaves the blinds closed during the day.

Lena turns the lights on and a wild Kara pops out from behind the sofa. "Surprise!" She yells, holding a cake.

"Kara? What is this for?" Lena asked, quite spooked, to be honest.

"Your birthday silly." Kara giggled.

"Kara-" Lena started.

"I didn't know what flavor cake you wanted, so I got you three of them."

"Kara, darling," Lena tried again, but was interrupted by her girlfriend once again.

"You can eat all three of them, if you want, and I mean, screw your diet, you look smoking hot, you don't need that anyways."

"Kara!" Lena finally got Kara to be quiet.

"Yes?" She asked quietly.

"Darling, thank you, for everything, but I don't celebrate my birthday." Lena left Kara speechless. The birthday girl went to the fridge, got a pint of ice cream, which Kara would usually eat, and retreated back into their shared room to change back into pajamas.

A few minutes later, Lena was settled under the comforter with her computer, ice cream, and her phone.

She called and let Jess know that she would not be coming in to work and to reschedule all of her meetings.

Once she hung up her phone, she carelessly tossed it away from her, and reached over to her nightstand to get her AirPods.

Lena swiftly opened her computer and got on Netflix, to continue a show she's started a few months ago called The Originals.

Before she started watching the show, she hesitated, Lena began to feel bad that Kara went through getting her three different cakes for her birthday. She also felt bad that she had simply walked away from Kara and said nothing.

Lena found herself with tears coming to her eyes. "Kara," she whispered.

In a matter of seconds, Kara was beside her, with both her arms wrapped around Lena.

"I'm so sorry, Kara," Lena held onto Kara.

Lena felt Kara nod, "It's okay Lee."

"No," Lena pushed herself away from Kara gently, "it isn't. You tried so hard to please me and I just walked away. I feel awful," Lena was gripping onto Kara and shaking.

"I don't deserve you," Lena said so quietly, if kara didn't have her super hearing, she wouldn't have heard.

"Lena," Kara tilted Lena's chin upwards so her green eyed met her blue ones.

"Lena, baby, you deserve everything. You are the most kind hearted person I know, and you are so pure and good. You are funny, and your laugh sounds so bubbly. And you are so beautiful, Lena. I forget my names sometimes when I look at you. I love you more than anything in this world, or any other world. You deserve the earth, moon, stars, and so much more. So don't you ever say that again,"

Lena sniffled and nodded. Leaning forward to kiss the love of her life.

"Thank you, Kara. I love you so much,"

Kara nodded and kissed Lena's forehead, "I love you more than you will ever know,"

"Debatable," Lena smiled.
