More Than Friends

Lena Needs A Hug

Kara woke up and smiled at the vision before her. Lena's hair was splayed out on Kara's stomach, and the woman was sleeping peacefully on top of her.

Lena's hand moved up from its spot on Kara's forearm to her shoulder. While sleeping, Lena slid her arm under Kara's neck and pulled herself closer to her.

Kara chuckled and played with Lena's hair until she woke up.

"Good morning, love." Lena whispered into Kara's shirt.

"Hey, sleepy head. How'd you sleep?" Kara asked sweetly.

"Good." Lena rolled over so she was parallel to Kara and took Kara's hand in her own.

"Good." Kara smiled at her girlfriend. "You're so beautiful. Have I ever told you that?"

"Every day." The woman blushed.

"I'm hungry." Kara groaned.

"Alright," Lena sat up and got out of bed pulled her hair into a tight ponytail, leaving two strands of hair out, one on each side of her ear. "I make coffee, you get donuts."

Kara held up a finger and she was gone. Lena huffed and walked to the kitchen to make the coffee. On island was Kara with a box of donuts from Europe and a powdered donut in her hand, half eaten.

Lena ran over and grabbed one from the box. "You ass!" She giggled.

Kara started laughing so hard she almost dropped her donut on the floor. Lena quickly ate hers and reached for another. Another hand touched hers as they both reached for the same donut, "I think not!" Lena says, taking the donut and licking it to claim it as her own. "Mine."

Kara fake pouted, "I thought I was yours."

"Fine, I'll share the damn donut!"

Kara smiled, "Yay!"

"But I'm splitting it in half because last time you only gave me a quarter." Lena quickly halfed it and gave Kara a piece before she could argue.

"Thank you." Kara took the donut and ate it.

Lena took a bite from the donut and moaned, "What kind of donut is this?"

"It's got honey on top and melted chocolate inside." Kara answered with a mouth full of donut.

"It's delicious."

"I had a feeling you would like it." she smiled.

Lena and Kara finished eating their halves of the donut and Kara chuckled. "What is it?" Lena asked unamused.

"You've got a little something." Kara said, slightly leaning forward. Kara licked Lena's upper lip, causing Lena to blush shyly.

"Honey." Kara smiled and took Lena's hand, taking her towards the dining table, abandoning the coffee she had just started making.

"Kara," Lena started once they were both standing beside each other. "I was wondering, would you possibly, maybe like to move in with me?"

Kara's eyes widened and Lena got worried she was going to say no or that she wasn't on the same page. "But you don't have to say yes, it's fine if you don't want to. I'm not totally sure -"

Lena was cut off by Kara's mouth on hers. Kara lifted Lena onto the table and things escalated pretty quickly, but before they could do much more, Alex barged in through the door with Maggie.

"Hey gu- Good god!!" Alex covered her eyes while Maggie laughed. "Not on the table guys!"

Lena scrambled off the table, and Kara stepped aside so Lena could get off.
