"Come again?" I asked him still shocked. He started laughing so loudly still looking at my shocked expression.

"Your so cute." He said pinching my nose to which I scrunched. He laughed more at it.

"Now will you stop getting things out of me. I really want to keep it a surprise. So please stop this topic now." He was clearly so irritated.

"I do not like surprises anymore. Ayan please tell me what all is planned. How does it matter? I am anyways going to know it later on." I was requesting him so much.

"It matters okay?" He said. Till now I was too busy whining like a kid but when he said this I finally looked at him. His face was all bothered and confused. He only looked like this when he failed to express something.

"Why does it matter Ayan?" I asked. This time I was persistent in knowing. All this fun argument had turn serious. I wanted to know what he meant.

Its weird you know. These days I want to know everything he says or means. I have this sudden desire of knowing him better. I notice every small thing he does or says. I have never been like this. Why such a keen interest in him then?

"Uhh... because.. umm" He tried to think of a possible answer while scratching the back of his head.

"Is The Ayan Brooke stuttering? Look who is looking cute now." I said pinching his nose just like he did earlier. I did not know saying it was the biggest mistake because in a second I was pushed on the bed and he was above me.

"You want to see how cute I could get Cookie?" He said in a deep low voice. It sent shivers across my whole body. Does this happen? Can just a voice do that?

"Do not try to distract me Ayan and just tell me how does it matter?" He suddenly got off and mumbled something which sounded like she is so stubborn.

"It matters because when I give you surprises your entire face brightens up and then you start jumping in the air like a kid. Its so worth it you know. Making you happy makes me happy." My heart took a 360 degree leap at what he said. Nobody has ever thought about my happiness like this.

He nervously turned around and started unpacking his things. He was nervous, I could see it in his eyes.

"Ayan." I shouted to get this attention. He just continued unpacking. I was angry now.

"Ayan put your fucking suitcase away and look at me right now." I screamed at him. Finally he turned around and I did a little happy dance inside my head. A girl can get anything if she really wants it.

I walked towards him and I could see he was a little shocked by my move. Honestly, even I was. In no time our faces were just an inch apart. None of us said anything.

No matter how cliche that might sound but we just looked into each others eyes. There was comfortable silence and I don't remember the last time I had been so much in love with silence.

"I know how you feel Ayan because I feel the same too, your smile brightens up my mood too. I am not saying this because you said it to me, I mean it." I whispered in his ear. Just as I turned I was pulled by the wrist and I collided right with his chest.

"What is this Cookie? What is it between us?" He asked in a deep husky voice.

What is it? He said and I began wondering. We were not dating but we have almost kissed. He is not mine, but I feel jealous. What is it between us?

As if he got the answer himself, he left my wrist and suddenly I missed the warmth of his body.

"Now quickly get dressed. We need to leave in an hour." He said going to the bathroom.
