It was another night full of boredom, and you were sick of staying home. You eventually convinced Ponyboy to do something with you, and you were extremely excited since that was the first time he said yes to any of your shenanigans.
The both of you sneaked out and got into Steve's car, since the seventeen year old greaser would prefer walking anyways.
He quickly got in, way before you did. "What if we, yknow, die because of this?" He said, listing all the cons of the drive.
You rolled your eyes and giggled. "What could possible go wrong?"
He chuckled and started the car. "My mother told me never do this," He says as you get in.
You both strolled around the small town of Tulsa, and although Pony was only fourteen, he was a pretty good driver.
It was a memorable night for the both of you, it involved a bunch of laughs, small kisses, and lots of talking. Let's just say, when you both returned the car and headed home, it was already six in the morning.
