darry groaned as he walked into the living room, his headache growing due to the sensitivity of the loud noises you and steve were making. you two had been wrestling for quiet a while now, and darry has had enough. he picked up steve and placed him on the couch, before turning to you and shaking his head. "oh little one, what are you going to do when i'm not here to help you from them socs, hm? gonna baby wrestle them like steve, or..?" he said as he ruffled your hair and thumped your forehead.
"'m not little! i'm the same age as steve and sodapop, dar. plus, i know more than just baby wrestling! i'm pretty good at kicking if i do say so myself." you huffed and hugged his side, before sodapop came in and laughed at you a little.
"oh come on, you have the tiniest legs and smallest hands- even ole johnnycake is tougher than you-" sodapop was going to continue, until he was kicked in the shins by ponyboy.
"leave our baby alone, poor old y/n always getting picked on, come here- i'll hold you," he slightly taunts as he pulls you in for a warm hug.
