You were at the Curtis house, crying over the fact that Ponyboy ran away from home. You held tightly onto his sweatshirt he gave you at a track meet, sobbing as you did so.
"Come home, Ponyboy. I miss you already." You muttered, over and over again.
Meanwhile, Ponyboy was in Dally's car at Dairy queen.
"You okay, Pone? You've been down ever since we came here." Johnny poked his side.
Pony groaned as he laid his head down. "I'm fine, Johnny. There's nothing to worry about. I just miss Litzy so much." He sighed, wiping the barbeque sauce off the corner of his lips.
Johnny sighed, quietly blaming himself.
Pony teared up slightly as he continued to think about you. "I'm coming home soon, baby. Wait for me." He mumbled, almost inaudible.
