I couldn't help but glance over at Yuuri. He was just so cute! I simply couldn't refrain from making sure he was ok at all times. I watched him as his eyes sparkled listening to them talk in Russian. My parents weren't fluent in English so they had to converse in Russian. Watching him as he smiled softly I couldn't help but let my lips pull into a wide smile, and inside my heart melted. 'I won't let anything happen to him ever.' I vowed as I watched him shift forward in his seat. "What's your name?" Yuuri suddenly asked. Suprised I looked over at him. He wasn't looking at me but I knew he was giving me his undivided attention. "Oh! I'm sorry! How rude of me!" I exclaimed immediately apologizing. "My name is Vitya or Victor," I said.

"Victor..." Yuuri said looking up at me. And for the first time, I saw his features. I know I saw him in the hallway and through the window but there wasn't a lot of light and he was looking down both of those times. He had jet black hair that was silky and sleek like a raven's feathers.  His skin was the color of cream and his eyes were a rich chocolate brown which also had a rusty gold underlay. "I like that name!" Yuuri decided after a few seconds quickly looking away again. "Thank you!" I said happily given him a wide grin. "What's its name?" I asked poking the small brown dog stuffed animal he held. "Its name is Vichan" Yuuri replied snuggling closer to his toy.

"You know..." I suggested after a few minutes of staring into the roaring flames.

"Vichan is another way of saying Victor isn't it?" I asked glancing over at Yuuri. "Is that why you said you liked my name?" Yuuri looked away as his face gained a light dusting of pink. "Yes. It's another way to say, Victor, I guess. I just like the name Victor though, It's not because it's your name." Yuuri said earnestly looking back at me. Suddenly Yuuri let out the cutest little yawn I had ever seen. He rubbed his eyes tiredly and leaned against my shoulder.

"Hey, mom!" I called out softly not wanting to wake up Yuuri. "Is it ok if I take Yuuri to bed?" "Sure. Your dad and I are going to continue talking to Mrs. Babicheva for a while." "Ok. Thanks." I said glancing back over at Yuuri who yawned again.

I gently maneuvered myself out from under Yuuri and I gently picked him up like a baby. 'He's so cute and light!' I thought as Yuuri draped his arms over my shoulders. I slowly walked up the stairs to my room, sorry, OUR room. When I got to the door, I shifted Yuuri slightly so I could open the door.

I gently laid Yuuri out on the bottom bunk and wrapped him in a woolen blanket that was heavy enough to keep you warm but light enough so you didn't wake from how hot it was. I smiled as I heard his breathing even out as I climbed up to the top bunk. Hanging over the edge I brushed his hair out of his face before rolling over to stare up at the ceiling, smiling, I fell asleep.

'I hope Yuuri will stay forever.' I thought smiling happily at the day's events. "史上最高の日" I whispered. (Best day ever.)

YUURIS POV

'Huh?' Where am I? I wondered. I was staring up at the bottom of another bed. That's all I knew about my location. Then it all came back. "Victor," I said aloud. Then something, someone, moved above me in the bed. I was wrapped in a large blanket that was made of wool. It made me feel warm and content as I lay on what I presumed was now my bed. Reluctantly I sat up and placed my feet on the cold wooden floor.

I know I shouldn't snoop but I couldn't help but see who was on the top bed. Climbing the small ladder I peered over. What I saw made my entire face flush.
