Chapter 16: Boyfriend

Hotch's P.O.V.

I wake up to my alarm going off on my phone. I turn to my side and grab my phone off the bedside table, I look at my screen to see that it's more like a reminder, that it's Jessica's Hockey match today. I switch off my phone, making the alarm/ reminder switch off with the phone. "Beth, sweety. Wake up. We need to get ready for Jessica's game today" I say shaking Beth slightly. "Fine" She says sighing slightly as she sits up and I do the same. I stand up and make my way towards Jessica's room. I knock on the door softly and just hear her say "come in". I open her bedroom door and walk in, I look around her room to see her brushing her hair out, since she's already dressed for her match. That's what I find confusing about her sometimes, when it's school I struggle to wake her and when it's a hockey match or any of her sport matches she's always up and ready, when I come to wake her up for the match. "Morning, Dad" She says as she ties her takkies quickly. "Morning, Jess. Meet you down stairs in a few minutes" I say walking to my room to get dressed for her match, thank God, I can actually wear normal and comfortable clothes for a change.

I walk into the room, to see Beth's already dressed, she's just busy tying her shoe laces. I walk towards our walk in closet and grab my clothes and go to the bathroom to take a shower, before I get dressed. Before I could get undressed, my phone just vibrates on the bathroom counter and I grab it off the counter, to see that it's Emily. I just smile when I saw her name on my phone. I really miss her, but I don't know anymore...
