Amaani's P.O.V

My eyes flutter open and I yawn tiredly as I sit up on the bed. Ah..it is morning. The third day being with this idiot. Hmph, God shall curse you well Vimal.

Standing up, I walk over to the bathroom and wash my face with some cold, refreshing water. I come out and knock on the door alerting the guards that I'm awake. The maid said they would be coming in a few minutes time.

Anyway, yesterday, after being forced to eat with Vimal again, I got taken back to my room. I spent hours trying to memorise any possible escape routes. I was thinking, I could ask where the maids's quarters was since all palaces should have exits for their servants and maids to use. Also there is a large window which actually not that hard to get through, there are no bars either, probably as a decorative window.

I still have hope that Shana is alive and well as well as some of my guards. Hopefully she will get something or someone and some help. Zacharias, please. I'm sorry for everything I've done, I know I was stubborn. At least now if anyone, well Vimal tries to attack me, I have self-defence?

The door opens revealing my three personal maids. I frown dully, I need to find a way to end this all.

"Good morning your majesty, sleep well?" One of them asks gently.

Muttering, I say, "Sure, considering I've been captured and trapped here."

They frown and then they smile comfortingly. They sit me down preparing me for the unfortunate day ahead. Yesterday, was quite boring to be honest, however it was helpful since most of the Royals went to the funeral for the king. I still felt guilty. Unfortunately, Vimal made sure that I wasn't able to leave this room all day. I could think of many things as well as just cry myself out or scream, the cycle went on.

"Are you okay after yesterday your majesty?" Another maid inquires. I nod barely okay.

They do some makeup such as lip paint and Kajal and then help me fold a dark emerald green sari intricately. I must say that it is beautiful though, and exquisite quality. Wait-stop it Amaani! This his choice! Never mind, I hate it! Disgusting!

"The Prince and the Queen is waiting for you at the dining hall." The guard at the door says and the maids and I nod.

Begrudgingly, I get up and walk out of the room and get followed by the guards to the dining room. I meet the intense dark brown eyes of Vimal. He smirks scanning over my form satisfied and I roll my eyes.

"Mother, this is her. How does she look? You haven't seen her since she came here, since you were being so ignorant of me." Vimal says agitated, glaring at his mother.

I awkwardly stand there looking back at her, she gives me a look of slight sympathy for a moment shocking me but then it turns into a blank stare. D-does she have sympathy for me?

"I don't care anymore. I am ashamed to even call you my son, you disobeyed me and got her. I don't care what you do, you also got him killed." His mother harshly says.

"She killed him, not me mother!" Vimal hisses. His mother, the Queen slams her hands on the table and gets up not even finishing her food coldly saying, "I'm not even hungry even more, I don't wish to eat with this scum."

"Yes, exactly! Leave you devilish woman! God, I hate you!" Vimal says getting up yelling as she stomps off. I flinch slightly shocked at the family argument. Seem there isn't a good relationship between mother and son. Then again, this is the Kumars we are talking about.

After a moment of silence he forces a smile and says, "Well, my Queen. My apologies, I was trying to introduce you to her but clearly she is a mad woman, don't mind her. Come and indulge in the Tamil morning delicacies.."
