Y/n's pov.
Lauren and I decided to eat outside with the whole family.

We had a surprise for Luna at Lauren's mansion, but we had to wait.

"Where do y'all I want to eat?" Lauren asked our children.
"McDonald's!" Luna yelled through the house.

My eyes widened at my daughter's answer.

The last time I went to McDonald's, Lauren practically snapped at my old boss.

"You sure? We can go to that Italian place? What was it called, Ginos?" Lauren tried to convince our daughter as she put her seatbelt on.

"Nah, I don't want anything fancy. Fries and a burger will do." Luna said.

"How about you Lucas?" I asked my son.

"I could eat anything right now." My son answered.

"McDonald's! McDonald's! McDonald's!" Luna started chanting.

"Alright, alright, McDonald's it is." Lauren said sighing.

Lauren put the car on reverse and she started driving away from the school.

"Just hope that Jeffrey doesn't work there anymore." I mumbled chuckling.

"It's been years, you think he still works there?" Lauren asked.

"I dunno." I answered laughing.

She groaned and drove faster.

I put the radio on since I was starting to get bored, when Luna spoke up.

"What if I work at McDonald's?" Luna asked.

"W-what?" Lauren choked out and stopped the car.

"Hey! Move it!" A man yelled from behind us.

"Sorry!" Lauren yelled out the window and started driving again.

I giggled but stopped when Lauren glared at me.

"I said what if I worked at McDonald's? It would be heaven." She said.

Lucas started laughing.

"That's a good one." He commented wiping a tear that fell from his eye.

"What's good?" Luna asked confused.

"Your joke." Lucas said.

"What joke?" Luna asked still confused.

"When you said you would work in McDonald's." Lucas said like it was obvious.

"I wasn't joking you idiot." Luna said and slapped the back of Lucas' head.

"Ow. Sorry, jeez." Lucas said rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh shit!" Lauren yelled and the car suddenly stopped, making me jolt forward.

My front snapped forward, but stopped before I was hurt thanks to the seatbelt.

"What happened?" I asked Lauren who had blood-shot eyes.

"Sorry, I saw a street cat and I didn't want to kill it." She said breathing heavily.

"You're fucking kidding me, mama." Luna said from the back, her voice shaky.

"Sorry, alright?" Lauren said and started driving again.

When we got to McDonald's, Luna ran in, leaving us.

"Jeez, that girl loves McDonald's." I mumbled in my breath.

"I really hope she doesn't work here." Lauren said holding my hand.

"It wouldn't be that bad." I said.

Lauren looked at me with a resting bitch face.

"Alright, I guess it's that bad." I said laughing.

Lucas opened the door and held it for Lauren and I.

"Thanks baby boy." I said kissing his head.

My head snapped and my eyes widened when I saw my daughter sat on a table with a tray filled with fries.

"What the actual hell." Lauren mumbled.

I just laughed and sat down next to my daughter.

"Order your own fries, bishes."
