19 Liar Liar

Ethan's POV

"Well?!" she says, her hand on her hip.

Ah geez. What do I do?

Me and Meredith, are..... complicated.

We aren't together anymore, but technically we haven't broken up.

I thought I blocked her from my phone. Who unblocked her?

Cassie stares at me, still waiting for an answer.

"Babe..." I begin

"Don't babe me. Just explain." she says. 

"Well, me and Meredith- we used to be together. But then I caught her with another guy." I start, hoping Cassie will understand.

"And...? You clearly haven't broken up. And she still loves you like crazy. I really don't know if I can trust you Ethan." She yells, her voice echoing against the walls. 

Oh my gosh- she actually doesn't understand. This isn't going to end well. 

"C-C-Cassie. You've got to believe me." I stammer, barely getting the words out. 

"I'm sorry Ethan. I can't." she says, storming off and locking herself in Gray's bathroom. 

Now what am I supposed to do. 

My eyes start to sting, and I feel a tear going down my face. 

Gray looks up from his phone, but I quickly turn away- he doesn't need to see me crying.

I go to my bedroom, lock the door, and cry more. 

Why did this have to happen to me?
