Chapter 12

"Mommy!" I shouted as I entered Auntie's house.

They're here for Semestral break. Yeah, they'll stay here for 3 days. Sadly, just 3 days. Art and Tyrone's classes just ended two days ago, they'll be here 23-25. They can't stay for too long since Tyrone wants to attend his field trip on the 27th of October.

They hugged me one by one and muttered that they missed me. Oh my gosh, it's been a year since I last met them.

"You're getting prettier, Noona." Tyrone complimented.

I felt my cheeks blush, "I'm going to buy you a pair of shoes for that."

He chuckled, "I'm not lying, Noona. But a pair of shoes will be great."

"Fine. We'll buy it later," I turned to Art, "How about you?"

"I want to go somewhere, Noona. I don't want to be stucked here like Mom and Dad." He kidded.

My parents doesn't want to go out and stroll around because all they want to do is watch tv and talk to Auntie.

"Amusement park, Noona!" Tyrone suggested.

"That's a great idea, Crush. Go out with your brothers and Tao." My Dad said.

"Okay." I smiled at him. I hurriedly dialed Tao's number, he answered it after few rings, "Hey."

[Is there something wrong?] He asked.

I stood up, went to my old room and locked myself, "Does that mean I can't call you when there's nothing wrong?" I pouted.

I heard some noise on the other line. I think he got up from his bed, [I'm just worried. So what is it?]

"My family is here, and I want to go out with my brothers. They wanted to go with you too, if it's alright. You can say no if you're busy." I bit my lip. I honestly don't know his schedule for the month.

[I'll go there. I love you.] Then I heard toot toot toot.

"Noona!" Tyrone called and I turned to him, "I want to go there!"

I looked at where he's ponting at and saw that it was a ghost house. I looked at Tao and I felt his hand went cold, I am holding it, okay? I awkwardly looked at my brothers, "Sure. You can go with Art inside, we'll just wait here outside."

Art held Tao's arm, "Let's go, Hyung!" He looked excited.

My eyes widened. We're dead, he's dead. I bit my lip and saw Tao getting paler. He looked at me in the eyes like he's begging me not to let him in. I sighed, "No, no, Art. Just Tyrone and you will go inside."

But they insisted and made us go inside. Let me make it clear to you that I'm not afraid to go in, I'm afraid with the possibility that Tao will faint inside. He's too heavy so I'm sure I can't carry him, I'll never let Art and Tyrone help me. They'll tease Tao for sure and I don't want that happen. My brothers went inside first, I held his hand really tight.

"We'll finish this together, I will never leave your side, babe." I whispered.

He can't even say a word, he's too scared for this and I'm happy with the fact that he'll go inside so my brothers won't be disappointed at him. We started to walk inside and he started screaming. I wanted to laugh but I can't, he'll get mad.

I saw something move from afar and I'm sure he didn't notice that, "Yaaaaaaaaaaa~!" He screamed.

I squeezed his hand, turned him around and kissed him on the lips right before the ghost pretender can scare him, he stiffened and returned my kisses.

You're doing it right, Crush. Make him forget about the ghosts. I held his hand tighter than he did and pulled away from the kiss, "Let's runaway and don't ever look back." I whispered as I pulled him and ran.

We were faster than the ghost pretenders that's why they didn't have the chance to scare him.

We were catching our breaths with our hands over our knees when we went out of the ghost house. I did a good job. My brothers went near us, "Are you the one screaming, Noona?"

I glanced at Tao, "Yes, that was me." I stood up properly and intertwined my fingers to Tao's, "Let's go shopping?"

They nodded and started to walk, we're walking behind them. I heard them talk.

"Noona screamed too much!" Tyrone laughed.

Art placed his arms around Tyrone's shoulder as I felt Tao's arms around my waist, "Hyung is so tough, I didn't even hear hom scream." They started laughing together.

If they just knew what happened inside, they'll surely think the opposite. But this is better, I'm a girl and I think it's normal for other people to hear a girl scream because of the ghost house but it's the other way around if they'll hear a man screaming because of the same thing. Good thing, he's high-pitched.

I felt someone taking pictures of us so I made my brothers wear their face masks since they're already wearing their hoodies. It's okay to take pictures of Tao and me, but it's not okay if my brothers are getting involved. They deserve a private life.

Tao drove away as soon as we got inside my car.

"Do you really have to go now?" I asked while pouting.

We're in the airport right now because they have to go back to the Philippines already.

"Tyrone wants to go to his field trip." Mom reasoned out.

I looked at Tyrone, "You can go there with us, it's better here. We can bond with Tao or go to Jeju if you want. I'll buy you 4 pairs of shoes." I bribed.

He smiled at me and hugged me see tight, "I want to go there with my friends, Noona."

I started crying, I just don't want them to go. They just got here, we didn't bond for too long. 3 days are not enough, it will never be enough. Tyrone wiped my tears when he pulled away and whispered, "Don't worry, Noona. The next time we'll meet, I will never leave your side. We'll have all the time in the world." He gave me the warmest smile I have ever seen.

I nodded my head and stood up. He's just 7 before, I can't believe that he's 9 now. Ugh. Time flies so fast. I hugged everyone and bid them goodbye, Tao did the same too.

They were walking away when Tyrone looked back and waved, I couldn't help myself and found myself hugging Tyrone again. I feel like missing him already.

"We'll be late, Crush." Dad said.

I tightened my hug and kissed Tyrone on his cheek. Tao pulled me and held my arm, "Bye." I mumbled before they continued walking.

I am in the middle of rehearsing when I heard my phone ring. It's 2 am already. :3 Who'll call me this late?

"Answer it, Elle." Cindy Eoni ordered.

"Ne." I walked to my bag and searched for my phone, maybe it's Tao.

But I was shocked when I saw my Mom on the caller's ID. I hurriedly answered it and heard my dad's voice and my mom's sobs on the other line, "D-dad, what's wrong?" My voice was shaking.

[Tyrone's in the emergency room, the bus they were riding for their field trip fell off the cliff. You have to go back, he needs you.]

My knees fell on the floor as I started to burst into tears.

I was just holding him the other day. He was.. He was fine.
