3rd person POV
"Holy shit. No no no!!!" Stanley searched through the grass for his english paper. That paper had two-weeks worth of writing, and he he was actually very proud of it. So, he couldn't lose it.
"Looking for this?" A friendly and familiar voice queried. He looked up and immediately broke out into a grin, standing up and brushing off his shorts. "Thanks, Bill." The other boy held out the paper and winked at Stanley, and once the boy took it, he turned around and strolled over to the bus entrance.
As for Stanley, he was glad that he'd gotten the paper back, but even more thankful that it had been given to him by the best person on Earth.
Deciding to take a risk, he sprinted over to Bill and grabbed his hand, walking with him to the bus. To his surprise, the other didn't shrug him away, he only laced their fingers together and hummed lightly, as if it were normal. People stared, but they didn't care.
Stanley had never felt this happy in his life.
