Letter 38

October 22, 1936

Dear Child Jesus,

I love You so much, and therefore hope that I can receive You in First Holy Communion soon.

Dear Jesus, I wish that this heart, when You come, would be all full of fioretti—but also of light—to receive You well in Holy Communion.

Dear Jesus, this morning I came into church and was very happy because I came to find You, and also because I wanted to hear so many beautiful words from the priest that spoke about You.

Dear Jesus, I would like so many souls to please You.

Yesterday evening I did not write to You, but this evening I will write You a big, beautiful letter to tell You so many beautiful things that would also please You.

Dear Jesus, protect me, my Mom, my Dad, and sister whom I love so much. Dear Jesus, protect the priests, the missionaries, and make the poor pagans know You.

Forgive, dear Jesus, me, who has been a little bad, and also my sister, and I promise You that tomorrow I will be much better.

Dear Child Jesus, make me become good so that one day I can be with You in Paradise.

Save me from all dangers. What a beautiful day the day of Christmas will be. I hope that it would come soon to receive You. Dear Child Jesus, tell Your Mommy to help me to be good to receive You worthily into my heart. Greetings and kisses from Your dear

Caro Bambino Gesù

Ti voglio molto bene e perciò spero che presto posso riceverti nella prima S. Comunione

Caro Gesù io vorrei che questo cuore quando tu vieni fosse tutto pieno di fioretti ma anche di luce per riceverti bene nella S. Comunione

Caro Gesù questa mattina sono venuta in chiesa e sono stata molto contenta perché sono venuta a trovarti e anche perché volevo sentire tante belle parole dal sacerdote che parlava di Te

Caro Gesù io vorrei tante anime per far piace a Te.

Ieri sera non Ti ho scritto ma questa sera ti scriverò una bella letterona per dirti tante cose belle e che Ti facciano pure piacere.

Caro Gesù proteggi a me la mia mamma il mio papà e la mia sorellina che io voglio tanto bene. Caro Gesù proteggi i sacerdoti, i missionari e fa che i poveri pagani Ti conoscano

Perdona caro Gesù a me che sono stata un po' cattiva e anche alla mia sorellina e Ti prometto che domani sarò molto più buona.

Caro Gesù Bambino fammi diventare buona perché un giorno possa essere con Te in Paradiso.

Salvami da tutti i pericoli e che bel giorno sarà il giorno di Natale e spero che venga presto per presto riceverti. Caro Gesù Bambino dì alla tua mammina che mi aiuti ad essere buona per riceverti degnamente nel mio cuore. Saluti dalla tua cara
