Three days she spent manning their agency in Manila. She handles some of their recruitment agencies and she's enjoying every bit of the work.
"Zhai, are free tonight?'
Says Irish, one of her friend and supervisor at the company.
"Why?"
She responded as she reads some of the applicant's documents.
"It's Friday, lumabas ka naman. Gimiktayo, I'm sure your dad won't mind"
"Of course he won't. Kulang na nga lang sipain niya ako gumimik lang eh"
"Ha Ha your dad is cool"
"Nagugulat din ako minsan"
"So? Are you on?"
"Um. Thanks Rish, but I have plans"
"Okay. But if you change your mind, text ka lang"
"Thanks, I will"
She paused for a while and stared at her phone. She set Zachary's picture as her wallpaper, she finds herself idiotically smiling in the air sometimes.
Her phone rings suddenly and to her excitement upon seeing a foreign number, the phone dropped on her nose.
"Ouch! Not again. Wait! Um. Hello?"
She was so excited hoping it was Zach.
"Oh. Kuya ikaw lang pala. Uuwi ka?!!! That's great, I'll see you then."
She smiled and shakes her head. Dismayed a little, but still hopeful. Zhaira stared at Zach's picture again and smile.
"I miss you nakasi"
