Chapter 21: Sleeping through the scene.

"Look at that, Ni!" Louis shouted, pointing to an Ostrich.

Niall and Louis ran towards the lanky and tall animal.

How fascinated, they look.

"How fascinated, they look." A voice behind her repeated her exact thoughts.

Angelina jerked back, but relaxed slightly when she saw that it was Zayn.

"Don't scare me like that again! Why do you like to make unexpected entries?" She exclaimed.

Zayn shrugged.
"I don't really know. It just happens." He answered.

Angelina inhaled deeply and tried to calm her nerves.

"I got you that scared, huh?" Zayn asked, his eyebrows raised.

"Come on." She said, avoiding his comment.

They walked around, looking at the different birds, or the monkeys.

"Look at that one!" Angelina said, laughing, pointing at the raccoon who was holding on to the railing like his life depended on it.

"It's so cute!" She continued.

"Cute?" Zayn asked, horrified.

"What's cute about that?" He asked, making a slightly disgusted face.

"Hey, don't say that! It is cute." Angelina stated.

"Whatever you say..."

"Should I click a picture of yours?" Angelina asked Zayn.

"Sure." Zayn smirked, posing like a model in front of her.

"Not only you, silly. With the Emo." She said, shaking her head.

"With that?" Zayn made a dismissive face.

"What's with you and these innocent, little animals?" She asked.

Honestly, he was being such a prick.

"They're just–" and then he proceeded to make one more face.

"Oh god, forget it. Let's catch up with the others." Angelina said, grabbing Zayn's arm and pulling him to where the rest of them said they would be.

"You don't look too happy?" Liam noticed, observing Angelina's slightly pissed expression. Zayn just stood there, like it was not his fault.

"Oh no, it's nothing. Just Zayn being Zayn." She said, lips pursed.

"Hey! What does that mean?"Zayn asked, looking at her sideways.

Angelina shrugged, like she was bored.

Louis laughed at that.

Niall looked at him with a knowing grin.

"I don't know why you have a problem with these animals. I mean, you were happy to come with." Angelina reasoned.

"That's not true. Quoting- 'I never said no.' That's what I had said." Zayn shot back.

"Yes, Fine. But, then you smiled."
