Chapter 29

Chapter 29: Nostalgia.

"It's going to be fine." Angelina repeated Niall's words to Sonny, who was just as nervous as Angelina had been the first time she was here.

"For you! Do they even know I'm coming?" Sonny panicked.

"Of course, they do! I called Liam and told him. So hopefully, everyone knows."

"Yeah, right. Hopefully. Great way to make someone feel better." Sonny said, sarcastically.

"Oh, come on. Just do it. They're not going to eat you!"
It was weird how Angelina was giving her best friend the advice she once needed.

But now, she walked like this was her home.

Angelina climbed out of the car and motioned for Sonny to come too.

She took a deep breath and said, "Pray that I don't mess up."

"You won't." Angelina laughed.

"I mean, I don't even like them like you do. So like, what do I say if they ask me why I'm here?" Sonny asked.

"It's alright. That won't happen. But–"

Angelina cut herself off when she realised that Sonny's eyes weren't on her, but on something behind her.

"Oh, holy Jesus Christ." Sonny muttered, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets.

Angelina followed her gaze to see Liam walking around in his hoodie and sweatpants, completely chilled out.

Angelina laughed.

"Yeah, that's what. He's worth that comment." She said.

Sonny gulped visibly.

"Are all of them that hot?" She asked, completely blunt.

Angelina was taken aback.

"Uh, I mean..."

"Oh right. Can't ask you. Cause Niall is all you see." Sonny teased.

"Oh, shut up! Let me see you laughing when I call Liam over right now." Angelina countered.

"You won't." Sonny said, fearful inside.

"Oh, but I would."

"Liam!" She called, waving a hand over at him to catch his attention.

Liam moved his head curiously, to find out who called. When his eyes fell on Angelina, he jogged towards them.

"Oh shit. He's coming, he's coming. Angel! Why?" Sonny cried.

"Hey!" Liam said, lightly hugging Angelina.

"So, this is Sonny?" He asked, looking at Sonny and giving her one of his very genuine and kind smiles.

"Yes, That is. And Sonny, this is Liam." Angelina introduced.

"H-Hey." She stuttered.

Angelina stared at her with raised eyebrows.

As if saying- you? Stuttered?

Sonny glared at Angelina and gave Liam one of her smiles.

"It's really nice to meet you. Come on in. The guys have missed you, and so has Cheryl," Liam said, to Angelina.
